I think KFU just installs twrp version that is bundled with it.

do you know anything about kfu? i see adb status online but boot status unkown. i tried to install TWRP anyway with it and it gets stuck at "activating fastboot 4002". i reinstalled the drivers and rebooted the kindle like it promted me to if it got stuck
