In order for you to find out you need to check the Specs for your device online since your phone is more like a cold meat. a Member of XDA said this and Ived been reading your comments saying you have a black edition mate , thats why i gave you the firmware for black edition.. sorry mate , i hope @Joku1981 and others can help you with this device ..

then you should be fine, cause i did it myself and everything was working correctly, so my next thought is that you dont even got the i9505, because this rom should work just like every other rom.

My S4 is only a black edition...in the label under the battery is written GT-I9505...

REFLASH the odin rom !!! you got teamviewer ?

That was the same Link i gave it to him..man i hope he can fix this issue.

Only one thing... He flashed android 4.4.2 firmware with new bootloader.... He cant flash now one android 4.3.... OK?.. that link no will be good

pfff, i really dont know, maybe he replaced Phone with Modem in odin xD .. no srsly, i dont know, crc bug in compression in downloaded rom , not fully downloaded rom or anything else... it HAVE to work...

Only one thing... He flashed android 4.4.2 firmware with new bootloader.... He cant flash now one android 4.3.... OK?

pfff, i think 4.3 is not possible with new bootloader too.... but i´m not 100% sure... he should download another 4.4 rom and flash it with odin again...

I know he flashed the 4.4.2 mate and yet hes having a problem. but do you have anymore idea ? Rather than sending it for repair/warranty?

I think if he only reflash the android 4.4.2 firmware I9505XXUFNB8_I9505BTUFNB3_I9505XXUFNB8_HOME.tar.md5, it have to work.

I was reading something btw lines:

1. Possibility 1: If you bootloader is locked there is yet not way to recover from this brick. We need that Samsung releases the Secure Boot Key (SBK) to unlock this device.

2. Possibility 2: If you bootloader is not locked, you will have to use nvflash

*EDIT: I think u need get it to repair. Im sorry

is there any way to check if the bootloader is locked?

the strange thing is that sometimes (often after pull out the battery for a while) it start until the "applications checking" (i don't know how is called in english, sorry)

Yes, sometimes with sound, other without...Every time it stuck on Samsung logo or "Samsung Galaxy s4 gt-i9505"...i'll try to take a picture, but is a normal boot...

okay, then you got the right rom, but it dont boot because of an strange error .. i think flashing another 4.4 rom will solve that problem

the problem I encounter with each rom is related to (as show in the first picture) the error in mount system, efs, data, cache....
