never buy sony phone. As you buy it ,you will be disappointed. No good rom,no better service, also they will not give you any update when the phone is old, even one years old devise.

thats weird because SP is cheaper than ION here in my country. I think there are better choices out there. You may want to look on mediatek powered phones. they are much cheaper than qualcomm. I'm not sure of the built quality though. I'm on a rebranded micromax a114 right now and its working good and awesome, they're almost half the price of international brands :)

Actually 160$
After selling my XU
The ion costs 200$ used from my cousin
The SP costs 400$
The L costs 340$
The M costs 300$
F¥cking expensive

If you can get it in your country, the xiaomi redmi is right within your budget. Even the Xperia V is a great alternative. Ion has a snapdragon s3, so it's a fact that it is slower and more power hungry than even the 1st gen s4 processors.

It depends on what you expect from it.
If you're aiming for software updates or installing latest apps or a bug free experience then stay away from the phone.
Camera is ok.
Touchscreen isnt that great but ok ok.
You can install latest custom roms but dont expect bug free experience.
