Introduction

Please welcome my latest port, the Sony Xperia M Camera.

I have edited the apk to allow the use of all parameters without any problem.

What are the benefits of this Camera?

• Latest build number 1.0.0.23
• Faster and better Focusing
• Better quality in low light conditions

Instructions

Xperia using JB 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 builds

0) Use Honami Camera mod: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2511284
1) Reboot in recovery
2) Mount system
3) Flash the zip
4) Clear datas of camera app in settings/apps/all

I installed it onto @DaRk-L0rD's .199 ROM on my TL. It seems to be working even faster than the previous version. Thanks!

confirm working on my XSP stock 4.3 with SU mod. zip failed to flash so pushed the apk manually. No ISO bug in manual exposure setting

For all those who want to try, clear data from all camera apps ( main camera app and all add ons as well as uncheck any xposed module if using for camera )

WOW. Camera feels faster at scene recognition and even some scenes I didn't remember like this photo of a church, the camera said it was "spotlight" and gave me this beautiful shot :good:

O crap ya! I'm on odexed.. anyway going to flash existenze rom later just downloading it atm

Easy solution for odexed fellas:

Delete SemcCameraUI.apk and SemcCameraUI.odex before installing camera, otherwise it will not work.

If you didn't just delete the aforementioned .odex and reinstall. After restarting clear the data from all camera related apps and it will work normally.

yes. i did clear data.

u mean location is /system/app?

z1 is under /system/priv-app. but i did try both, still fc.

Just a question since I'm new to Xperia devices.
I have a Z1 on 4.4.2 wiith camera app 1.0.0

So this 1.0.0.23 is obviously an update for me in terms of version number.
But is it actually the same app even if it comes from another Xperia device? Will there be features missing, or anything like that?
Just wondering because I don't see why Sony would update the camera app on one device but not on another (especially the Z1 being the flagship, at least until Z2 is out)
