What's not working, when your phone is in ON mode or when your phone is in DOWNLOAD mode?
This was my case a while ago. in one mode, pc and odin detected my galaxy y; but when I switched to download mode, suddenly pc and odin both do not recognize my galaxy y.
What I had to do was:
check apps>unknown sources
check apps>development>usb debugging
(not sure if these 2 steps do anything, but it worked for me)
then turn off your phone
remove battery for at least 30 seconds <=(I think this is the important part, at least 30 secs)
put battery back. press volDOWN+power+home for 5 secs then if warning screen apears, release immediately
after reading the warning screen, you press volUP now. so now your device is in download mode
now, connect usb cable first to pc, then to phone. wait for pc to recognize your phone. I forgot what the name was in device manager, sorry.
odin should be able to make one yellow square now.

Sir I would like to ask if there's any difference in these firmwares except for their CSC. Btw I don't use regional languages, only English. Waiting for your reply eagerly and thanks in advance.
the later firmwares may have stability improvements - only samsung will know what changes were made to the firmwares - you will have to ask them

make sure usb drivers are installed as it sounds like there is no connection
There's a problem with the package. Well, two problems:
-I can't apply the latest OTA update from Samsung after I install the Brazillian Odin Image.
-I can't root the phone with that ROM either.

Apologies that dev-host seems to of implemented a new design that makes it hard to download the files
Use a pc to download or if on phone use Opera browser
Make sure you untick the box that says use their downloader if it's there
Click the "download now" button and not the "Download" button
Please do not bang on about it - there's nothing I can do!

How To Use Odin
Install samsung usb drivers here (windows 8.1 run the setup in compatibility mode for win xp)
Turn phone off (or pull battery and put back in)
Put your phone into download mode - hold vol down home button then with them held also hold power button
Connect usb cable from phone to pc (use rear usb ports not front ones if you have front usb)
Push vol up to start connection (wait a few seconds if first time connecting so drivers can install themselves)
Open odin 3.07 which you can find by the power of google (other versions may work but thats the one I use)
If odin is connected it will say com then a number is a coloured box under com:id on the left hand side
Only auto reboot and F.reset time shoud be ticked - DO NOT tick anything else!
Put pda in pda
Put modem in phone
Put csc in csc
Start the flashing process
Phone will automatically restart and boot once done
If you didnt select a wipe pack (says wipe in filename) or phone goes into a bootloop go into recovery and wipe data/reset

If the firmware you want is not listed above try looking on Sammobile
Once you have downloaded the firmware from Sammobile you can use SplitFus2 by Doky in order to split the firmware into pda modem and csc in order to flash via odin
