Coby Kyros Tablet 7022 | 8127 | 1125 | 1126 | 1125WAN get Update to Jelly Bean

Search This thread
Coby Germany has released an ICS update for the MID7022, MID8127, MID1125, MID1126 und MID1125WAN on his website.

So Coby is really fast with this update, better then other company's.

Like the update to ICS, you have to open the site on your device. Download the new "UpgradeAndroid.apk".
After install these apk and start it, the update will load and install on your device.

Yes, i've done the update. But, sorry to say that google market (play) does does not work or i've not found a way to install it..tried several approaches...got it to the point where it seems to be installed, you can register the device in google play, but then the program stops "unexpectedly". Once you reboot device you can start google play again, but it soon crashes. Also, if you go to google play online and select an app to install onto the device, you then see on the device that google play has crashed again.
So, not very useful without google play :(

Right, I had also problems to start the playstore, but now it is running. I try several versions of the gapps to get it. Sorry, at the moment I don't remember sure which version succeeded. Try it this one gapps-ics-20120317-signed. This is still in my folder for the MID, so it should be the one

Could you share the file again so I could download it?
I've got an old Coby MID1125 working tablet and I would like to upgrade it :)
