I've replaced the resistive screen of an Huawei U8110. I've checked it is working properly entering with adb shell and then 'cat /dev/input/event0' (this is always the screen), and it returns raw data wherever I touch the screen.

The problem is that, with any rom I tested, the screen is displaced about 1cm to the right, so I'm even unable to unlock it! Because of that I'm assuming that the screen calibration is recorded directly in the touch detection chip, so my questions are:
  • Is it possible to know the chip brand and try to communicate with ti directly to do some kind of "reset calibration"?
  • Does somebody know if there is any rom with ts_lib integrated, so there'll be an extra layer that enable the user to calibrate de screen in software?
