So yesterday I decided to part ways with my old rom and flash the new sacs kitkat. I flashed the new clockwork via Odin, flashed the cf auto root and then flashed the ROM.

I get no sound via mp3 player (DSP manager not working). No sound via YouTube native app and no sound on YouTube website. Then to top things off no wifi thethering! No Bueno! Naturally as a tech my instincts flare up so I start looking for the last change done to the phone.

Flashed multiple ROMs in hope of correcting the issue, no go. Flashed back to oudhs clockwork, no go. Only thing left for me to flash is a different modem.

Any suggestions ? Perhaps a stock modem?

Are you using the correct kernel?

At this point I've flashed every kernel/modem listed. I do notice an issue with me being stuck on nae modem. I've flashed multiple modems and when check the about device it still says nae!

Really frustrating not having any sound. I'm using window 8 enterprise. At work I flashed the nae modem under windows 7 enterprise.

Compatibility issue? I'm having no luck under windows 8 still stuck on nae modem which is clearly the issue on hand.

You could as suggested try the lates Ktoonsez 4.4 TW kernel first.
Are you already on the Knox bootloader?
If so why not flash the full NAE tar to wipe/clean everything back to stock. Then use CF-Autoroot to root, Odin Philz latest and then start from there.
Just back everything up (I use Titanium Pro Root) and also make a nandroid too.
