I have a very old HTC desire from februari 2010. It always worked alright but it is very very worn out.

Both the volume buttons have stopped working for over a year now. And there's the problem.
I am in a bootloop which I can't get out of. Even after putting it in a freezer it will stay. The system got corrupt, it is a problem I caused with a rom I modified.

Now is my question. How can I get out? will only work with volume buttons?
Bootloader will only work with volume buttons?
ADB is unauthorized.

Any help would be appreciated

Hey, I'm only a noob beginner but cleaning the volume up/down switch with a bit of electrical contact cleaner definitely made my controls much more responsive Fastroot screens. Others says rubbing alcohol (iso-propyl alcohol) or even petrol works.

Have a Google and find some tips on dismantling - you don't need to remove much and if your methodical and careful it is easy enough.
