My ST18i was installed and running fine with the Iced Bean 4 custom ROM which is a great looking one.
Because of some hickups (Walkman shutting down, music jittering) I wanted to try another ROM, the HD one and I rebooted into recovery, deleted cache, battery status, dalvik and revert to factory defaults and then I started the HD aroma installer, everything went smoothly but after the reboot initiated from recovery, everything halts into the SONY logo.
If I start the phone, the vibrations and Sony logo. Some weird red and amber blinks after a long period of inactivity.
Remove battery, press volume down and plug in the volume down, a fraction of a second of green led blinking then the Sony logo again.
In other words, I can't boot into the flash mode anymore.
S1 tool and Flashtool can't catch the device so I can't flash it.
Is this a little brick now? Is there anything hardware that can be done? Any paid service for a reasonable fee that can revive this?
Would keeping it in the freezer work or I should go directly for the oven?
