I use my Shield for interactive ESL classes in a number of schools I teach in, most of the time it's okay because these classes have newer TVs with an HDMI in. Occasionally I have to give the digital lessons a pass however when the classroom has an old CRT-tube 4:3 TV.
Now, I found an HDMI-to-RCA converter I could buy to fix this problem, but I suspect if I were to use it the aspect ratio might get all screwed up.
I'm assuming when you enter Console Mode, the Shield defaults to outputting in 1080p? Does anybody have any suggestions to getting it to output in 640x480 natively? Or could somebody suggest a converter box that adds rowboxes to maintain aspect ratio?
Any help would be appreciated!
