Alright, so since i heard that nd8 got pushed out i started reading up on it and saw that you need to have the new bootloader to run 4.4 which has knox and whatnot and have a few questions.

1. what exactly will knox do if you try to downgrade bootloaders/firmware? does it brick the phone? or does it just set a flag so if you take it in for repair they will know you fiddled with it?

2. can you run aosp with the new bootloader/firmware?

3. any special steps i should take before updating? do i have to unroot? run an odin flash?

i haven't flashed in months because i was just to busy and never really had time to figure out all this knox business.

currently rooted running 4.3 in case you need to know

1. It will be hard bricked. You won't be able to boot into recovery, download mode, Android or even turn the phone on at all.

2. Yes

3. No, aside from yes, running Odin to flash ND8.

Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy SIII with M.O.A.R. v9.0, dkp kernel dated 3/20/2014 and TWRP v2.7.0.0.
