HELP! Erased everything on my phone. How do I load the system?

ok it said download mode but then it switched to a screen that says firmware update, i tried that guide it is confusing

well the firmware upgrade screen is what's supposed to happen and that guide is the only way to get your phone working

i got to the point when the tool flashes the firmware but it keeps saying my phone is disconnected

Update: nevermind it is working now and flashing the stock firmware thank you

well that's very odd, when you connect it does it show it in the device manager

its working now. I redid download mode then it connected
