ART runtime causing issues:

I recently clean installed the CM11 5-30 nightly, and immediately upon boot I switch to the ART runtime. I remember long ago when I tried ART it threw all kinds of errors, so that kinda turned me off for a while.

However, this time is much better, I'm only getting one error, which is "Unfortunately Sound Search has Stopped". I read in another forum that this could mean I needed deodexed or odexed GAPPs, whichever is not currently installed. From reading elsewhere, others have said that ONLY stock ROMs can be odexed and that ALL custom ROMs are deodexed. Links below: (Halfway down or so from Paranoid Android)

Another person ON A NEXUS 4 said that this could be caused by needing an update to Google Search. They said that no updates were available at the time but after a few reboots an update popped up. I'm currently in the process of multiple reboots with no success.

So does ART rely upon those odex files to run properly? Is there any way to fix those errors without disabling Sound Search?

Thanks everyone who took the time to read this!
