I recommend just tweaking the settings until you get it to where you want it. It is possible (for the most part) but will take some work. In my opinion, it is definitely worth it to be able to run AOSP. I happen to like the many customizable options and support of the community better.

Same here, this ROM is amazingly stable, fast, and beautiful. The audio is the one downside and I can't get over it. Have they made any word on the status of this issue?

dont flash the .irs file.

you have to put the .irs file in following folder:
/sdcard/Viper4Android/kernel

after this you can select your irs in the convolver menu, make sure you have moderate or expert ui setting selected

I'm using Poweramp , but it should with play music too, don't forget to change music effects to v4a
Settings >sound> music effect> viper4android fx

    Installation Instructions
    Coming other ROM
    1. You must be unlocked or a Dev version!
    2. You must have a custom recovery installed.
    3. Wipe your device if you are not coming from PA 4.+ already.
    4. Flash the ROM zip
    5. Flash the GAPPS.
    6. Enjoy

    Coming from AOSPA 4.0+
    1. Flash the ROM zip.
    2. Reboot.
    3. Wait the upgrading android dialog.
    4. Enjoy!

    Hey guys,

    I wanted to apologize in my threads for the lack of updates during the last weeks, the main reason has been that my grandpa is at the hospital, Lollipop source drop and my latest app, HubToDate. The future of Paranoid Android and the HTC One M8 is not clear, we plan to continue its official support but it's not a priority like Nexus or Oppo's. The builds for this device might appear a bit after the rest of devices. As always there's no ETA. By the way, HubToDate, my app, is now finished and being voted here in XDA and I hope to be back online after the holiday season.
