hi guys,

i tried on my p710 and it worked almost fine...
english language is not the best for me (i'm italian), but i find a way for traducing almost all (except dialer program that cause a crash of the program) backing up all with titanium backup on original stock rom and then restore programs and data after flashing the new rom..

Doing a stock rom backup with cwm is possible to restore ignoring returning errors..

imei and s/n are ok after all, battery has an improved durability.

the only noisy thing i encountered is worsecontrol of statusbar on top of the scrollscreen...

it it possibile to improve this rom? it should be very good...

I just installed it on my P710. Installation went flawlessly with CWM Recovery. Sadly, you definitely feel that there are still many bugs, e.g. some menu points in the Settings don't work and crash (for example "My Settings"). Also, the front button illumination doesn't work which is kinda confusing but you get used to it.
I also had the problem that I couldn't download anything from Play Store because of the error RPC:S-3. If you have this error, follow these steps, they worked for me:

  1. Go into Settings.
  2. Go into Accounts & Sync.
  3. Go to Accounts, then Google and click on your account.
  4. Press the menu button.
  5. "Remove account"
  6. Add the account again manually.

Then it should work again!
Other than these tiny things, it's great and way smoother than the Stock. Hopefully this will push some more advanced developers than me more into Optimus L7 II development. :good:

I recommend this ROM, because is very smooth and has few interesting apps to personalisation ex. battery icon, status bar etc. :good:
v5.1 is better than v5.0 but has one bug - FC android l keyboard, so u must change it to xperia keyboard in settings.

To make Android L keyboard work, just reinstall it :) I had the apk, so I removed Android L keyboard and then I reinstalled it with the apk, and now it works :)

I flashed it on my p714 device, it works pretty well! much more faster than the custom rom and very responsible too.
i found only two bugs:
*i cant use none of the LG widget, they dont load
*the android L keyboard didnt works. it was showing ANR error all time (no problem, i uninstalled it and the problem was gone!)

if you have a p714, you must have this custom rom, you'll have a real faster phone on your hands! :)

Thx for the information, i'll try it as soon as possible, maybe tomorrow. After testing, i'll post the feedback here.

    I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY BRICKED DEVICE, EARTHQUAKE, LOST LOVE OR MONEY.

    THIS MOD IS FOR P713 VERSION OF L7 II (based on V10G), FOR RUSSIAN MARKET, SO SOME THINGS NOT WORK, LIKE NFC & CAPATITIVE BUTTONS BACKLIGHTS.

    MY ONLY INTENSION IS TO GET HOPE FOR YOUNGER & SMARTER MEMBERS TO IMPROVE, AND MAKE THIS ROM BETTER AND MORE COMPATIBLE WITH OUR DEVICES.

    WITH PACHED BOOTLOADER & CWM from http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2700579

    INSTALLATION:

    0. MAKE THE BACKUP WITH PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED CWM (or get KDZ for your device)!

    1. Put the firmware archive downloaded from https://yadi.sk/d/DsMvhBmfai6pc to the root of SdCard (external_sd). DO NOT UNZIP FILE.
    2. Reboot to CWM recovery.
    3. Make "Wipe data / factory reset" and "Wipe cache partition"
    4. Choose "install zip from sd card"
    5. Select "choose zip from sd card"
    6. Choose archive with firmware (P713_mod.zip).
    7. Select "Yes - Install update"
    8. Wait for the end of installation
    9. When the installation is complete repeat step "3"
    10. Then select "Reboot system now"

    What to say for v 0.7? Just check yourself and enjoy.

    Only launcher is wierd, i dont see lighter, but this is only my opinion...


    Version 0,6 is out there, and it brings to us changed notifications panell, battery bar, pull down menu etc. Some things is removed, like shake to clear ram. Still have some bugs like chrash of setup wizzard (just ignore), but this rom is the best possible option for (easy) improving look and fill of our devices.


    Version 0,51 is improvement of versions before, polished, with nice settings animations, and new launcher.
    Some bugs disappear, new one is come, like keyboard bug on screenshot. But you may choose xperia keyboard in settings, and delete other...
    And author, the_vanya1, is too busy with new project to write changelog for this version, so we can expect more candys for our devices.

    If you desperate need quick memo, download from google play quickshortcut maker, and make shortcut. You can uninstall quickshortcut maker after that, and shorctcut still stay on homescreen.
