It's built on another board with different CPU, GPU. Partition layout is not the same and it probably have different LCD as well.
Only similarly is the name.

@Android-Andi
Hi Andi,
Can you tell me if I can flash this 6.0.5.0 recovery over the 6.0.27 of my sons S3 mini I8190N. I tried to flash an KK 4.4.4 ROM but stay half an hour in reboot, downloaded the ROM twice with wipes and factory reset. Then someone told me that the 6.0.2.7 recovery is not able for KK on this phone.
Thanks

@hollandais better use my PhilZ Touch for golden.
Find it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2749286

CWM 6.0.2.7 is too old for KitKat on all devices.

What it has to do with CWM?

You can use someone else's TWRP too, maybe ask in the ROM thread for a working recovery.

Wrong thread, but yeah, I had to drop it again because of private life
we'll only have one income next year which is a big hit and could cause real trouble, besides that a lot of work in real life and the little time I have isn't enough for all devices I supported.... And s3 Mini isn't my favourite device.
