hi there..
wonder how can we increase the quality and the volume for music on this rom?
everything is perfect but quality and volume Compared with viper is very low..
is there any patch or app or something i can use to improve quality and volume ?
without damaging the speakers of course..

and what is the best kernel for this rom?
how can we add s2w to this rom?

There's only one kernel that's compatible with this ROM, check the dev section.

I've been using ElementalX-8.3.2 with CleanROM 7.0R2. The kernel should work for you and it has S2W!

i used this kernel on viper.. but battery drain is extremely high..

but thanks for helping..
Sorry to hear that!!! I've always had ridiculously good battery life which is why I sold my N4 and kept the One X when I bought the N5. I looked and still have some old screenshots on there. ;)

I just installed this Rom last night but did not install supersu because I was going to unlock the SIM with a code I purchased on eBay. That is done now and I have installed suopersu, but there's no binary installed. I tried several times with no success. I can't get back into tarp without this. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Why do you think you can't get back into TWRP? Lack of root doesn't stop you from being able to access your recovery.

No I have not. I have forgotten the correct command prompt to do so. I will check it out when I get home from work. Thanks tTimmaaa.

Thanks again. I tried the usual button down procedure, but it just kept turning the phone on. Check when I get home.

That's just a case of bad timing. Hold the volume down button, then hold the power button (so you're holding both buttons together), after a couple of seconds let go of the power button but continue to hold the volume down button until you reach the bootloader.

Hey Turge. What is your sharing policy on this. Can I base my Rom off this?

Of course.. Do whatever you want with it! :)

Hmm I just managed to move Chrome to my SD card no problem using Tibu...

Maybe I should upload my modified firmware.zip with install instructions? It doesn't seem to have bricked me and this rom seems more stable.

    *edit*

Here it is for those of you who want to flash the latest Hboot with firmware/radio/kernel updates. This was extracted from the tmobile DE OTA File.

This did not brick my phone. This does not mean it won't brick yours. I am not responsible. The end. GL HF

link removed as Turge fixed his and there's no point in having 2

download and put firmware.zip in fastboot folder (do not extract it)
    boot to bootloader/fastboot
    plug phone in to PC
open command prompt within fastboot folder

    fastboot oem rebootRUU
    fastboot flash zip firmware.zip

    Wait for it to finish

Error flush again immediately will occur.

    fastboot flash zip firmware.zip

    Wait for it to finish.

    fastboot reboot-bootloader

Then you should have 2.15 hboot.

You will then need to flash twrp or CWM over as this will install stock recovery.

This is based on the new T-Mobile Germany OTA.

No firmware included, no root, no mods. Completely stock. Flash through recovery.

    Please wipe system first.

If you want root, flash SuperSU after flashing the rom.

For signal drop issue,do you disabale sleep mode in power setting.

Like @timmaaa has said a billion times and yet no one listens to the guy. The guy isnt stupid, so listen to him.. Sleep Mode just turns off DATA AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF NO USE WHEN PHONES IN HIBERNATION, it has nothing to do with the signal..... It's something with HTC Stock Kernel that's effecting that.... To fix you must flash @Zarboz 4.2.2 kernel.... Had that issue before I flashed kernel... And it's been exactly 26 hours without signal loss..

So Turge, does this mean you will be updating your ViperXL ROM with 4.2.2?

Question has either been answered here or in the viper thread... Please read up on these forums before posting. To save clutter and people answering the same question a billion times... Yes he is going to update it to Sense 5 4.2.2 by the way...
