Hello mates,
Presenting the way to have the Latest Photo Editor (S5) on 4.4.2
KK Rom.
here are the steps:
First through any root file browser go to /data/app
Rename the com.sec.android.mimage.photoretouching.apk to com.sec.android.mimage.photoretouching.apk.bak
(This was your existing common photo editor)
Now flash this
https://www.dropbox.com/s/eaw291fmttm2mjl/pHoToEdItOrS5.zip
Reboot.
Now from gallery if you open an image and want to edit, you will find the new photo editor with lots of options.

This is tasted on DN3 RC2(NOT FOR DN3V5) but should work on other 4.4.2 roms also.
Again WHOLE CREDIT GOES TO THE GREAT E-team for giving us the S5 mod and apps.

Cheers.
Special thanks to @Logel

Here is the update mates, for ported android 4.4.4 users
First rename the 'photoretouching apk' as '.....apk.bak' in /data/app and rename the Gallery apk as same in /system/priv-app.
Now flash the zip, check, if everything is okay you can delete those renamed apks.

1. i flash from twrp 2.8, still fc
2. i rename the others files from the rom as u suggest in op, still fc
3. i clear data the photo studio, still fc
---------------------------
found the solution
i just go to /data/app then install the PhotoStudio_FHD_K.apk n boom it's just work how it supposed to be :D
---------------------------
oh crap it's fc again after reboot :(
--------------------
It's work fine with 4.4.2 mod :D

@nitol Hey man, thanks for your great work. I have a question, is there a way to get the app icon to appear in the drawer instead of having to open the gallery each time I want to edit a photo??

I got a fc as well while cropping

Sent from my GT-N7100 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
to crop an image, don't select it from edit option, open the pic, then from gallery menu, select crop. for all other edit, the editor is fine. The default gallery crop option is creating conflict with the photo editor crop.
    regards.

Hello @nitol! First of all thankyou for this but I don't have that com.sec.mimiage bla bla in data/app but in my system/priv-app i have that sstudio.apk, should i just directly push that apk to data/app, change permission, reboot and it's done?

Then you don't have the common photo editor, no problem, push the file (1st link) to data/app, change permission and reboot, then check.
    Regards.
