Rogers 4.4.2 OTA:

http://www.filedropper.com/blurversi...02xt925rcienca

NOTES:

- ensure you're using stock Rogers JB 4.1.2, no root/custom recovery before applying stock OTA
- I've included a modified updater-script to replace the one contained within the OTA ZIP above for those rooted/custom recovery. I did not test this, and based it off @Orphee's findings here: source.
- I make the assumption your BL is __unlocked__ before attempting anything. I did mine via Moto's website when I first got my XT925

I had used @Orphee's RTFR soak-test KKBL upgrade previously and came straight to stock OTA from it. I used RSDLite v6.1.6 to go from CM11 KKBL to Rogers JB 4.1.2 (9.8.2Q-8-XT925_VQL-12.2_CANADA_VANQJBLTEFRCI_P004_CFC_fb) before applying OTA. I did have to modify the XML to avoid the TZ and PARTITION clobbering and must be removed from the SBF XML before applying it with RSDLite:

<step operation="flash" partition="partition" filename="partition_signed" MD5="62f516b3c360ce892439b36be827eb8a" />
<step operation="flash" partition="tz" filename="tz_signed" MD5="bd4d8cd7a5889aa75e8de7a323588250" />

****YMMV****

Was able to re-flash PhilZ recovery (see sig) and back on to the road to CM11 again. Hope this post helps someone.

Oh yes, before I forget, I have LTE back

Thanks for the grab. I got a total different beef now with an xt 925. Tried fido kk update for little while,then reverted back to rtfr, orphee script and root.
After i reboot , all i get is preflash validation failed for gpt.
The phone wont take any flash now of anything, always throwing partition name error and remote failure.
I have good battery and i can see the phone on my device manager, but nothing will make it move . Tried house of moto, tried flashing rogers 4.1.2, then rtfr in case that is the base . But no go. Also, it is showing BL locked code 0. Weiiiird mess.
Any input is appreciated.

EDIT: OTA is downloading now.
EDIT: Got the OTA, it's ~610MB in size. Just uploading it to file sharing site.
EDIT: Here you go world:

http://www.filedropper.com/blurversi...02xt925rcienca

I noticed that the updater-script validates everything before patching (not like a SBF which just blindly writes), so if you did as I did and install a custom JB recovery + root (to get the OTA file), you'll need to modify the updater-script and remove the lines that validates recovery:

Code:
ui_print("Validating Recovery(source or target)");
apply_patch_check("EMMC:recovery:10485760:d93aa8b874a3bdf2df4d170feb981b52ec9cce2a:10485760:360e689009df8669b9e5398fdd297f349c32b555") || abort("\"EMMC:recovery:10485760:d93aa8b874a3bdf2df4d170feb981b52ec9cce2a:10485760:360e689009df8669b9e5398fdd297f349c32b555\" has unexpected contents.");
I also noticed it updates the TZ partition, etc. Not sure if this will fail on me as I flashed the RTFR version of this to get my frankenstein KKBL setup.

EDIT: Yeah it's giving me grief. I'm just going to modify it to patch everything but the OS as I'm going to reinstall CM11 anyways and it's all I care about stock-wise.

No, Motorola said it will only update Moto X & G (2014 variants) and the 2013 Droids, and I suppose the Droid Turbo will be included too.

4.4.2 (with 4.4.4 back ported security patches) will be the last release for the xt925/xt926 line I believe.

I am fine with that - I got the Rogers OTA and the phone seems to be working well for now.

So it's absolutely necessary to have 1) stock jb, 2) jb bootloader, 3) stock recovery and lastly 4) unroot for the ota to work correctly? I'd prefer to not brick it but would like rooted stock KK w/ xposed. I don't mind the jb at the moment but it's missing lots of the newer features (mostly the sweet lockscreen improvements among other things). I'm currently on Rogers 4.1.2, cwm, root, unlocked BL, never upgraded to kk BL.

This took me by surprise! Rogers usually isn't great about getting updates out, let alone to skip all the way to KK.

Based on your description, RSDLite back to Rogers 4.1.2 and let it do it's thing. Skip setting up Google, etc. Just get to homescreen + wifi (if possible) and take the OTA and sit back. Bootloader unlocked is required to then reflash custom recovery via fastboot after OTA has completed and you're sitting at your shiny new 4.4.2 homescreen.
