PLEASE READ
If you are new to BlissPop and have not flashed a CM12 Nightly as of 02/09 (or later) OR a recent firmware, the rom will error during flasing with a TZ assertion error!
This is due to changes that CM has made to Trusted Zones partition.

Flashing Instructions:
  • FIRST revert theme to stock theme before flashing (just to be safe)!
  • Make a nandroid backup!
  • Clean install or at least wipe cache/dalvik (in 2nd case, error reports require log!)
  • Bacon Firmware March 15
  • ROM
  • SuperSU (optional! download 2.46 here)
  • Gapps (e.g. BaNkS or any other LP 5.0.x gapps package)

  • ROM Linaro 4.8 again, Kernel SaberMod 4.9, auto-wipe of caches after flashing!
  • Fixed: gapps backup scripts working again (tested with BaNkS' 5.0 package)!
  • Fixed: delivered AdBlocker hosts file pre-filled with today's data and backed up upon dirty flash
  • Removed duplicate Screenshot Sound option in Sounds (see Advanced Sounds)
  • Lockscreen options now has option to turn off visualizer

  • Contacts common: ensure preferences are loaded before reload data
  • Settings: prompt to fill new profiles out only once

  • Fix: Do not start music app when headset is unplugged

Also dirty flashed.

Also synapse didn't even stuttered when I entered it this time after first boot and a couple of minutes letting things to stabilize... Smoother than smooth.
Let's ser how it goes for battery sake, but it looks damn promising.

Feeling "blissed"... Congratulations. [emoji4]

Amazing work Blisspop team! :D I also dirty flashed the latest build and it runs beautifully. No bugs or errors. Funny thing I noticed though. I used the same AK kernel I was using on the previous build and get this: on the previous build using AK- the interactive pro governor gave choppy performance whilst slim governor was buttery smooth. Now on this new build with the same AK kernel- interactive pro is as smooth as a baby's bottom whilst slim governor gives choppy performance.

It isn't an issue though. I just found this to be hilarious :D.

Device has been disconnected or is not responding

Hello Team,

I love Blisspop. It made me an Android believer.

I recently flashed BlissPop-v2.2-bacon-OFFICIAL-20150322-2101.zip and had no trouble connecting/copying files prior to that update. Now, when trying to update to BlissPop-v2.2-bacon-OFFICIAL-20150325-1907.zip, I'm not able to copy over any files. I've tried two computers with two different cables. Any ideas on what to try next?

I was able to transfer files again after I downloaded the rom directly via the OPO and flashed using TWRP. Thanks!

still the black screen issue makes me to stay away the build.. :(
i know you people are working hard for each and every build, but don't we have any fix for the black display on Here Maps. (as it minor issue, plz don't ignore it)
All other roms are not having this issue, must be any commit missing in our rom.
i'm still having the Feb 19th build as backup .. currently running cm12 nightlies. awiting for a fix :) to return it back

keep up your good work..

I was just about to use that Banks link as paranoid android gapps seem to have disappeared -- or is that only someone who was compiling links who has just retired? See: http://xdaforums.com/paranoid-android/general/gapps-official-to-date-pa-google-apps-t2943900

What alternative is recommended? For how long is it ok to use latest surviving PA gapps? (I last used pa_gapps-modular-mini-5.0.1-20150315)

Disregard what I said- I am not fully awake yet.
I didn't mean you needed to root again to fix issue, I just thought I was seeing issues in the log relating to SuperSU not being installed- but I was wrong anyway.

Note that the same issue has been posted to CM's Jira, so should be addressed pretty soon!

I doubt it is a kernel issue, I am using stock CM kernel and I also see stability issues with the Alarm clock- I will try and fetch a log also.

    Team Bliss is not responsible in any way for anything that happens to your device in the process of flashing.
    Please familiarize yourself with flashing and custom rom use before attempting to flash the rom.
    Please make sure you download the correct version of BlissPop for your specific device. The links are labeled clearly.

    -Make sure you are rooted.
    -Make sure you have a custom recovery installed. (TWRP, CWM, Philz CWM)
    -Download the latest Bliss Rom & the latest GApps package.
    -Boot into recovery.
    -Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution
    -Flash Bliss Rom
    -Flash GAPPs package
    -Reboot
    -First boot may take up to 10 minutes

    As you all know, Lollipop is new and there are going to be bugs.
    Please bear with us while we work on getting things updated, and all errors fixed.
    If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, and is not a known issue with CM,
    please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you time, as well as us.

    -Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
    There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.
    -After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
    -Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving.
    -As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
    -Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
    -Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the forum with a brief description of the error.
    -You can also open trouble tickets on our website for bugs.

    First I want to thank everyone here for there support and always your kind words.
    But at this time I have illness in my family and really don't have the time to take care of things here. Like I feel that things should be out of respect for all of you.

    I've talked with Tobi and he will be opening a new Bliss Bacon thread and I'm very glad that he will do this and keeping up the great support to all of you that he has been.
