Maybe it's at least partially skinnable? Since i have definitely seen and used different signal bars with a GSM Diamond.

i was actually looking for the taskmanager icon to make it black.. Il take a look into it.. but the signal as i said above il look into it.. I have no idea why that is coz your sing wm6.5.. Is it stock rom? What rom u using? and build?Hey, love the theme. I'm having some trouble with the signal and task manager icons, however. Any known fixes? I've tried searching, but no help. Thanks, keep up the good work.
as dandnj was saying the numbers would be too small i think.. il give a crach at taking small digits and applying them to the qvga taskbar (above not inside) like the one dandnj made at first. Although no promises im not too sure itl be as perfect as WVGA.
Yeah, it is skinnable, the thing is the icons im using, maybe there the problem with wm6.1.. Coz i also noticed the battery icons have smudges around, although in wm6.5 its completely cleaar.. So im thinking of redoing the skin to a proper wm6.1 dll it shiuld fix the problem.. also sometimes its the way the rom is cooked wether some of the icons show up or dont.. Like i said il skin a wm6.1 dll and check it out.. Would you mind testing?

Yeah, sorry about that. I haven't updated the sig yet. I am back to the OEM AT&T 6.5 ROM. I would give you the build #, but right now I'm having to tether it for my internet connection . I live waaay out in the Middle of nowhere, and they.... sadly.... haven't ran high-speed internet out here. I can hit you with the build # tomorrow if you still need it. BTW, awesome theme man, seriously I love it. (Wish you would port it to the TouchFLO 3D interface, though )
Hey DN,
no skinning on signal bar icons here. They're plain white, same as with the task manager icon. In the dlls that contains the usual icons there are no icons that control the signal bars, so I can't understand what to do to skin them
Regarding those smudges around the icons: Use png format as I suggested and make the background transparent and you'll avoid those problems Let me know if I can help you with that, as I got some time today and tomorrow. I think I have already done your Desire taskbar battery icons in png, or at least some that are pretty close. I can send them over if ya like, just gimme a notice...
BTW in most of the lasts posts, those links are showing taskbars where the icon behind the signal bars are skinned, and not the signal bars themselves. There are no problems having a background for the signal bar icons to make them visible on a white background. The problem is how to change the colour on the bars themselves. Cause I can't find the right ico files in the dlls...
Alright guys, I've gone over the battery icons and removed the smudge. It looks really good now There were some almost transparent pixels on the images that were nearly impossible to see. Thanks to photoshop's magic wand I found them!
Attached is the shellres.192.dll. Consider this update 2.5 As usual, rename phcanOverbmp.dll in the windows folder to phcanOverbmp.bak, extract the one attached, copy it to the windows folder, soft reset and enjoy. Or wait for the cab if this sounds scary.
THIS IS FOR WM 6.1 ONLY. It might mess up your taskbar if you apply this on 6.5 or 6.5.x!
DN, I also attached a zip containing both the fixed icons and the fixed pngs, so you won't have to pull 'em out of the dlls
Right.. so the smudges have gone now? thats good, now just to skin the network bars il give it a good look through.. Im going to be using your phcan version just to make sure the icons are all there.. In the future pm me as sometimes i log in although i dont go straight to this thread. regards
