@Unit Zero
Those are nice looking ones, but I still preffer file open icons from the first post :D, but toolbar images are worth to put into build. Anyway thanks for working on this.

Thanks for the input, those resource files took a little bit of work, but graphics, especially in small scale are my specialty. I can scale QVGA skins up to VGA as well. the graphics for the file open icons are basically the same ones as the originals, just in 24 bit vs 4 bit resolution, and the media file now says "CORE" instead of "Beta" and the audio file icon has a better speaker. The only other difference is the undefined video file now has a camcorder on it.

No I'm talking about new icons which I've came across, not the old ones from official release.

Since you specialize in graphics, can i ask you to contribute a bit :)
First of all tcpmp need's an icon redesign, while surfing on the net I've came across to an nice looking icon for tcpmp (see attacment below), but it needs a bit edditing, like to make transparent background, or rounded corners and scale to smaller sizes. Also could you properly scale attached file open icons to sizes 96x16, and 192x32

Here is the original 0.14 alpha subs plugin and source. It has the ability to let u view subs on any video driver but it has alot of bugs. U cannot use subs in fullscreen mode only widescreen. Subtitles appear above or below the video and shift to the side in fullscreen. I think it could be alot better if someone could do some work on it. It is more convenient than the subtitle plugin now it just need to be fixed. Hope someone can spend a little time on developing it to wkrk the way it was intended to work.

Sorry for beeing ignored :)
I'm afraid that any of TCPMP versions can't dowload any of files from internet, they just able to stream files from net.
I'm guessing that you are talking about tcpmp with flash video bundle installed together???. If its the case I'm afraid that flash video bundle plugin is outdated now, because youtube makes changes in their site very frequently.
There is an alternative though, a WVD app get it here
You need to have installed TCPMP which can play flv files (like the one from first post :)) and associate it with .m3u files.

No Problem, here is what I came up with, please tell me if this is works for you. I replaced resources 111, and 113 in interface.plg, using your images (I did spruce up the blank file though) and also made the icon you requested. I've included test compilings of both the interface.plg file, and the 'clean' version of TCPMP for immediate evaluation. Alt. Interface 2's .plg is the same as the one in the ICONs ZIP, but the speaker for audio control is blue instead of yellow, which do you like better?

(The Alt. Interface ZIP contains another interface.plg file, but there is a small difference in the video file icon, can you spot it? Hint: it's an homage to the original...)

Thanks, for your work. I like the blue speaker instead of yelow.
Tested that interface.plg and noticed an issue, the file open icons has random pink pixels around them, so making white background of that whole image could solve it, since file open dialog has white bacground.

P.S noticed that difference ;) the video icon says "core"

You probably saw some issues with the 111 resource, I shrank it from the original, the pink pixels are there because there is a certain hue that most programs inserting graphics will see as invisible, if you have a round object against a square background, if the background is this hue, when displayed, the object will appear to have no background, the problem happens when you use a resizing program with interpolation, and you get those funny colors at the edges. I will fix that right away, and post the fixed files in my original post.

(UPDATE: all files in post 268 fixed, BTW, do you like the version with the word "CORE" on the video file icon or not?)

OK, here are Final Versions of the interface.plg mods, I included the blue and yellow speaker versions, just on the off chance someone is running a device skinning program like Wisbar Advance, and needs extra visibility

Does anyone know of any regeditors for pocket pc that gives the option to set permissions? I have tried several and none let u set permissins like u can on a pc. I know the question seems off topic but I actually need to set permissions on my TCPMP build.

porkenhimer,
Are you even sure that Windows CE supports registry permissions? I've just done a bunch of googling and can't find a thing on it. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't. I'm pretty sure that CE doesn't support file permissions, so no registry permissions would likely go along with that. If what you're trying to do is prevent TCPMP from modifying the registry, you could always export the key the way that you want it and have a little MortScript run TCPMP and, after it exits, delete the key and import the export that you made.

bimbam,
Unit Zer0 already did one version of the Core icon for you that's probably suitable for embedding in the executable (where I imagine that alpha transparency isn't supported), but if, for whatever reason, you're interested in one with alpha transparency, here's one. Also included is the full-size .png so that you can make any size that you need (or use as a web graphic). To make your own icon, just download the free IcoFX.

EDIT: I tweaked it some more and made a version with the word "CORE" replaced with "TCPMP" (makes more sense to me, since this isn't really CorePlayer), if you're interested. Both are included.

Yea the TCPMP with FVB together. I tried the WVD app but its difficult and also can't view the desktop version. I wish some developer would update the FVB so we can have a solid youtube player. Thanx!

I guess that's imposible to improve FVB, cause it uses special plugin for internet explorer and there is no source code of it availiable, also one can try to contact original developer and ask to update it :).

Unit ZER0,
You ended up cutting off much of the drop shadow that I added when you cropped the icons to 111x111. I'm guessing that you didn't notice that or you wouldn't have done it. I don't think that bimbam should use those because enough of the shadow is cut off to not look very good. If you need different sizes for the .ico file than are in the .ico that I uploaded, I'd suggest using my original images without cropping them any (since there's nothing more to crop without affecting the image). If the shadow is some kind of problem or bimbam would prefer an image without it, I can upload that, though the image looks awfully flat without it.

    Sreenshots:

    2
Hello everyone I've compiled a new release with the following features:
*Added ability to decode FLV1 videos using mpeg4.plg from sources found at pudn.com (i'm surprised that this mod wasn't released before)
*Added Monkey's audio decoder (ape.plg), not the most useful plugin :D, but coding it helped to investigate certain parts of code.
*Added ability to load cover art (folder.jpg, cover.jpg, front.jpg) for FLAC audio files
*Increased max URL length to 512 chars
*Turned on some compiler optimisations which may improve speed
*Also reverted ati3200.plg and intel2700.plg to original state (since I have complaint regarding speed and other behaviour)

Donwload it from first post and enjoy :)

    Also below is subtitle-free build.

    Everyone,
I've created a skin based on Windows Media Player 12 (the latest version, included in Windows 7). It's good for those who want a simple, clean skin with minimal interface (i.e. not taking up half of the screen) and, especially, those who are very comfortable with WMP's controls. I also felt it important to include as many of the skinnable controls as possible (moreso than existing skins), so all sizes have "Open", "Playlist", "Mute", "Previous" and "Next buttons and most have "Shuffle", "Repeat" and "FastFwd" buttons. I also added text labels to the buttons because it takes the guesswork out and makes the skin more comfortable to use, IMO. If you'd prefer no text labels, open the Background.bmp in a paint program and paint over the labels with black.

    backgroundwo.png
    wmp12skinl.jpg

    wmp12skin480l.jpg

    buttonspressed480.jpg

    The following sizes are included:

    For Windows Mobile phones...
    HVGA (320x480)
    QVGA (240x320)
    VGA (480x640)
    WQVGA (240x400)
    WVGA (480x800)

    For CE Core (PND/GPS) devices...
    320x240
    240x320
    480x234
    480x272
    272x480
    640x480
    800x480

If you need a different size, see the included Readme for some simple instructions on how you can modify one of the existing sizes to whatever size that you need.

Note: I didn't test every single size, so there may be bugs. Feel free to point them out to me (or, even better, correct them in skin.xml, yourself, and tell me what the corrections were).

EDIT: Replaced all tabs in the XML files with spaces to satisfy a bug in later builds of interface.plg.

EDIT #2: Added HVGA (320x480) version (for the HTC HD Mini, for example).

EDIT #3: Added the same grey background to the 240x320, 240x400 and 272x480 versions that the larger sizes have.

EDIT #4: Magnified the size of the controls for the 480x800, 800x480, 480x640 and 640x480 skins. (Note: all releases until this point have been downloaded a total of ~1400 times)

Still having that playlist issue I mentioned in an earlier post. And I did compare some earlier builds of TCPMP, the "Use Blitting" option was present then, but not in the current release. Is this option no longer necessary? Will re-implementing it improve performance? And is there any other solution to that playlist issue?
You mentioned that you are using intel2007g decoder, try to replace current intel2007g.plg with official one (from http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/) if it fixes the problem i will recompile that plugin using original sources.
    1
    SOLVED!

You mentioned that you are using intel2007g decoder, try to replace current intel2007g.plg with official one (from http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/) if it fixes the problem i will recompile that plugin using original sources.

You were right... The original "Intel2700G.plg" file solved my problem. Now, when I move to other items in my playlist by skipping forward or backward to the next file while in fullscreen, the screen doesn't go black. There is still no "Use Blitting" option available anywhere, but, Interestingly, the "Dither" option, under "Options -> Video" is no longer grayed out when a video file is loaded. Before, when no video file was loaded, this option could be checked or unchecked, and whenever a file was loaded, the option grayed out, and was locked to whatever it had been set to before loading, either checked or unchecked. Now, "Dither" can be checked or unchecked mid-playback. Also, subtitles are displayed at the absolute bottom of the visual field in portrait, and the bottom of the screen in fullscreen mode, rendering "widescreen" video files completely unobstructed.
