If you see an empty /data folder it could be the problem with adb root
Try this: "adbd Insecure" http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1687590
This apk has solved the similar problem with Droid Explorer for me.

it's VERY good indeed!
the "Applications Manager" feature isn't working though.... (in Lollipop 5.0.2)
the Apps simply don't show up....

But I use it for many things.... including: Backing up (to my PC) my "TitaniumBackup" folder, that appears as a "file" (instead of a Folder) in "Windows Explorer", but in Android Commander it appear as a normal "folder" !!!

Has anyone successfully used this on the S6? I tried both this and Droid Explorer, neither are supported but curious if anyone has got this or a similar alternative to work?

Thanks

Yes that is what the issue was. However I have root access on the phone but AC shows on the bottom "Root Access: NO" and I can get into system files just fine, but \data is just empty when I know there are files and folders in there using Root Browser and Root Explorer on the phone itself. Any ideas why the \data folder shows up as empty on AC?

Cheers

Try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1687590
Download link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...7&d=1415633566

Also, try changing this options:
(In "\Network\ADB\Options"):
"File list comand":
- Native "ls -l"
- Busybox
- Native "ls -la"
