With this tool is possible return back to stock for an arc s with root and (I think) unlocked bootloader?

yes. its only way with unlocked bootloader. if y use sony pc software your phone brick you can flash kernel also & do other stuff

Just wondering whether this has been answered already?..

How do I install the flashtool drivers for my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc smart phone on Windows 8.1, the usually signature enforcement trick isn't available for me to do!.. Is there other way I can install these drivers?..

Cant find any links for flashtool v0.9.10....
Highly frustrated...
Official website is not having previous versions & i have to downgrade my arc s to 2.3.4..
Someone please help me before i get mad!!

I just want to flash custom recovery using flash tool. I have recovery.img which is twrp recovery. please help me how to do it. I am a newbie
