Did you at least check that the wakelocks you blocked by following the guide are really the ones draining your battery? If so, are they still the ones causing problems or are there any others?

Could you be a little bit more specific? Were the wakelocks you added to the filter the ones causing battery drain? What happened after enabling the wakelock block? What does GSam report?

This sentence does not make any sense to me, the power button on the Butterfly S does not have backlight of any kind (unless you can see infrared light d-: ).

What's “gcm”?

Also, it's not about freezing any service, it's about disabling a particular set of incorrectly used wakelocks.

Wakelock Terminator lets you filter the wakelocks of a single app for free; if you want to limit the wakelocks of multiple apps, you'll have to make an in-app purchase.

Thanks for this, oddly Wakelock Terminator seems to have been removed from the play store, nor is it in the separate xposed module repository, nor can I find anything about this on the web ;/

Tons of pages telling you to install it but nothing about where it's gone...any idea what happened to Wakelock Terminator and where we can get it?

thanks

I would guess this is no longer supported. I came here hoping to find out if it works with lollipop, but since there's no information on that I tend to think not. You might want to look at NLP Unbounce, which seems to do similar things:
