Yay, thanks for Beta 4 and fixes in it!

Small note: ROM now include second CAF's FM Radio.
CM's app much better.

And small question: can be 2nd working RIL-patch for CM13 used on CM12?
Without flashing included boot.img, of course.
I compared ZIP's and all files different from final-patch, but you said it's same.

UPD 1: Hm, GPS broken (not only for me btw).
Even when it enabled apps show it as "Off" and ask to on.

And "Only WCDMA" option in fact won't change mode.
Even in telephony.db value not changes on 2.
When selected via 4636-menu if fall-back after reboot.

UPD 2: Default 2G also reverts.

did a fresh install of beta4 with nano-gapps from opengapps. First boot was good, then I installed davdroid and x-plore, configured an owncloud account on davdroid and reboot. Problem is, that the phone does not reboot, it only showed bootscreen for over 5 minutes. Backlight was dimmed after a few seconds (which happens during boot a few seconds before android is ready, but it never got ready)

so I am back to CM12.1 and try again next time ;)

Its better if you can provide the logcat

Compilation of _device-related_ bugs in CM13

Don't forget that CyanogenMod source now in active development – they porting features into clean Android.
So may appears non-device related bugs (regressions) which maybe will be fixed in next builds by CM contributors. Just wait.
You can find / report them on Jira bug-tracker

@PecanCM fixes only bugs related to our Xperia M.

Also check changelog in CM13 between 26.05 and 15.09 Nightly

Device-related bugs

– Dual: no internet on 2nd SIM
– Not for all: USB tethering not works
– Not for all: MTP connection buggy
– Phone won't reconnect to Wi-Fi router after loosing signal until screen turned on
– Option "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep" > "Never" not work
– When charging in off state: powering on and entering recovery not available, phone fallback into charging
– No indication of battery level by LED when charging in off state
– Turning on screen by volume buttons after deep-sleep causing changing volume

Non-fixable:

– Doze mode not work: device don't have required significant motion sensor
– No NFC payment support: our chip no longer supported by Android
– Init.d scripts won't run at boot due SELinux: how to disable it

Useful information

– In-call recording not works without root (e.g. ACR): change in Android. CallRecoder works
– Also there is internal call recorder feature in CM: info
How to get network
How to install SuperSU (fully disabling SELinux)
Persistent TWRP recovery
Increasing free space on /data by shrinking dalvik-cache size
Testing main ROM's in AnTuTu
– 2G/3G switch in settings: 3G actually means mixed mode. Set "only 3G" (WCDMA only) possible from *#*#4636#*#* menu
NUI Kernel with a lot of features and overclock
– How to always automatically select MTP mode (it's not a bug): app or Xposed-module
– If sdcard not adopted: to select sounds on sdcard by native method you need place them into folders Ringtones / Notifications / Alarms and reboot
– If you experiencing problems with GPS check this thread (non-ROM related)
– Due noise-canceling in low light / indoor photos can lose in detail: more info and solution
Thanks to all users for responses!
Thanks to PecanCM and CyanogenMod for this awesome ROM!

it has nothing to do with RIL blobs. either marshmallow changes fixed or qcom itself fixed. (checking needed).

I think it's not supported, but for me it worked well from cm11 -> cm12 -> cm12.1

Yesterday I tried it with cm13 and boot did not finish (optimizing apps worked, but not on all apps and then it reboots and never ended).
A clean install worked with beta4, but then I got problems on restarting the phone, but that was maybe only on my phone. Unfortunately I have no logcat.

Aw, thanks for answers.
Updated bug-list.

About broken init.d
With NUI kernel it works, so I asked @thichthat how it's done.
He explained here
Please, can you fix it in CM following example?

And main problem.
Seems you by mistake uploaded old Beta 1.
File name cm-13.0-20151204-UNOFFICIAL-nicki.zip and build.prop says same.
Flashed: yes, all old.

2 All
For now don't update to Beta 4.1, it's outdated build by mistake.

UPD: fixed

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
