Boah...

After many attempts...

I was able to reanimate my GT-I9300 PCB with tweezers...
With this method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...k-fix-t1916796

I did many mistakes...
without attached Display...
SD Card is important...
But first 512 Bytes Header (MBR) seems more important...
I was only successfull, with writing this to my 8 GB Medion...
GT_I9300_unbrick_sdcard_head.bin

Puh...
Now I have PCB + SD to proceed with further tests...

Maybe 1 day in future I am able to restore my RD-PQ with Tizen Firmware...

Next step is to kill my GT-I9300 PCB again... to check if it is possible to execute Tizen u-boot from SD card, instaed I9300 sboot...

Later more details...

Best Regards

Edit 1.
To kill Bootloader is here described for GT-I9300:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...8&postcount=51
WARNING!
Don't do this if you not understand why...

I have short tried Tizen U-Boot to write to 4 GB Sandisk...
no luck...
Then removed and my 8 GB SD Medion with sboot work... again

Next attempt is to be sure... 4 GB SD from Sandisk is also working like my 8 GB Medion Card...

Edit 2.
4 GB Sandisk fail with the other method...
But now really I will write sboot on this Sandisk SD...
Focus...

Edit 3.
Hmmm.
Interesting...
Seems like my 4 GB Sandisk is not working for this kind of action...

My "Reference SD" is 8 GB Medion...

Will try to find second working card, before I proceed with my tests...

Edit 4.
Short tested old 1 GB from Sandisk...
NOT work...

Strange... I will not test again 32 GB from Sandisk... but first tests also failed with the other method...

For my other SD cards... I have to backup them...

Puh...
Seems I have many Sandisk SDs...

I have found 16 GB SD from Samsung...

First tested with the other method... without tweezers... no luck again...
So I was scared...

But the tweezer method + sboot on SD work with this 16 GB Samsung card.

So I have now 2 confirmed SD cards for tweezer action...
8 GB Medion
16 GB Samsung

Next attempt is to try again with uboot instead sboot written on SD...

I will try with 8 GB Medion SD...

Little progress... not much...
But tiny little step forward...

Meanwhile I have now 3 test PCBs:
1. My "holy" beloved softbricked GT-I9300 PCB from RD-PQ
2. Alive GT-I9300 PCB where I can kill and restore sboot.bin
3. My old first dead GT-I9300 PCB, where I have tried to remove eMMC after I thought it is complete dead...

My actual test PCB is now with the self damaged eMMC... because I can play "faster" as nothing anymore possible to write...

I have tested few sboot.bin from different devices...
Visible success with sboot.bin from GT-I9305

I can see same message... So Display Driver are the same...

As all other tests only with black screen... I should solder cable to have UART.
Maybe then more output is more input for my little brain.

Like he did for GT-I9305...

Today I found sboot.bin from Note 4...
N910C
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...37&postcount=3

I have this one:
N910CXXU1COH4_Bootloader.zip

If I look into sboot.bin...
I can see THOR near ODIN "handshake"...

Since weeks/months I am confused about this:
http://download.tizen.org/prerelease/tizen/mobile/
mobile-wayland-armv7l-n4

First hint to Note 4 I saw in
tizen3.0_wayland_opengl_drivers_for_exynos_mali.zi p

\tizen3.0_wayland_opengl_drivers_for_exynos_mali\w l_install_set\mobile\note4

Ehm... is N910C for Tizen U-Boot "prepared" by default?

This is my "latest" progress...

I have no luck yet to find I9300 sboot.bin with THOR support inside...

But nearly all other devices...

Code:

    GT-I9308
    SGH-I939
    SGH-I939D
    SHW-M440S GT-I9300 Korea Variante... Boot geht
    SGH-I317		Note 2
    SGH-T889		Note 2
    SHV-E210K
    SHV-E210L
    SHV-E210S
    GT-N7100		Note 2
    GT-N7108
    GT-N7109
    GT-N7102
I need some time...
Then I will upload my collection of sboot.bin... where THOR is inside...

Hmmmm...

This looks interesting:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...25&postcount=3

Quote:

The boot partitions are presented as readonly by default, but allowing modification is a simple matter of executing the following before writing the data:

echo 0 > /sys/block/mmcblk0boot0/force_ro

Hmmmm...

I am using this command to kill sboot.bin... but never tried to write something after...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...8&postcount=51

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Meanwhile I have "repaired" my RD-PQ PCB... but only with Android...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...0&postcount=44

First start in DL Mode I saw Product name was missing...
And before also only with tweezers possible to reanimate...

Now Product name is written and also SD method possible without tweezers...

So I will check if I can write more to this partition... or minimum same like TriangleAway can do...

Best Regards

This works.

My RD-PQ PCB is back alive with Tizen...

Will try other PCB...

Later summary.

This work for me.

1.
I have reanimated my RD-PQ PCB...

2.
I have tested this method with Android GT-I9300 PCB... successfully.

Code:
adb push dump.bin /sdcard
adb push s-boot-mmc.bin /sdcard

dd if=/sdcard/dump.bin of=/dev/block/mmcblk0

echo 0 > /sys/block/mmcblk0boot0/force_ro
dd if=/sdcard/s-boot-mmc.bin of=/dev/block/mmcblk0boot0

poweroff
These are the commands...

s-boot-mmc.bin is from Tizen RD-PQ...

dump.bin is from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...3&postcount=36

32 MB is enough to have working U-Boot Bootloader inside...

To see mmcblk0boot0 I am using:
twrp-2.4.0.0-i9300.tar
https://dl.twrp.me/i9300/

After poweroff Command I can see battery Loading Screen...
Then you need Volume - Key and Power on for Download Mode.

DL Jig not working...

I have flashed my device with Windows:
2.1.0_public.exe

Now I can do again stupid things.

Started again with Wayland... Tizen 3...

cat /etc/*-release
Code:
NAME=Tizen
VERSION="3.0.0 (Tizen3/Mobile)"
ID=tizen
VERSION_ID=3.0.0
PRETTY_NAME="Tizen 3.0.0 (Tizen3/Mobile)"
ANSI_COLOR="0;36"
CPE_NAME="cpe:/o:tizen:tizen:3.0.0"
BUILD_ID=tizen-mobile_20160114.2.20160114.143729_mobile-wayland-armv7l-n4
Tizen3/Mobile 3.0.0 (arm)
VERSION = 3.0.0
CODENAME = Next
BUILD_ID=tizen-mobile_20160114.2.20160114.143729_mobile-wayland-armv7l-n4
Tizen3/Mobile 3.0.0 (arm)
VERSION = 3.0.0
CODENAME = Next
BUILD_ID=tizen-mobile_20160114.2.20160114.143729_mobile-wayland-armv7l-n4
Still not so easy to flash and start...
Still nothing visible after "Pinguins"...

But Key Combination:
Code:
Volume +
Power
Interesting features...
Something like UMS connected whole eMMC...

So I had read access to whole 16 GB...

I will investigate if this is U-Boot only feature or Kernel stuff...

Later more...

Best Regards

Edit 1.
Is inside U-Boot Bootloader...

Code:
Download Mode Menu
DEVICE - Info
BATTERY - charge level
THOR - downloader
UMS - mass storage
DFU - firmware update
GPT - default
ENV - default
EXIT - and run normal boot
Will check later if new or in older uboot too...

Did few short tests with GT-I9305...

Handshake...
THOR answers with LOKE...

Flash attempt with THOR failed... not start... But my method from GT-I9300 work too with Knox Bootloader.
Used this one:
twrp-2.4.0.0-i9305.tar with my GT-I9305...

Successfully flashed to Tizen 2.2.0... because my Windows 1 click Tool is so easy to use...

Then tried without tests to flash Wayland... Tizen 3...

Here something goes wrong...
U-Boot not execute or Hardware difference or stupid mistake...

SLP Boot is alive but this menu is crap...

I can remember I was not able to see whole menu on GT-I9300 nor RD-PQ correct...
So I need some time to fix my problem...

Meanwhile I can play again with GT-I9300

Yesterday I have short compared 2.1.0 and 2.2.0... in U-Boot Bootloader...

Because 2.1.0 is able to use Modem Port with Ramdump Tool...
And 2.2.0 install Serial Port...

I will check if 2.3 and 2.3.1 uses param or inside U-Boot...

Also played short with "modifying" U-Boot from Wayland...
First attempt simple text change... it was successfully.
So Binary is not protected/signed like sboot...

Before I will proceed...

I will short check my steps... same I did with GT-I9305...
Maybe it is no good idea to update from migrate 23... to Wayland...
Maybe I was drunken... missed 1 step...

Best Regards

Edit 1.
Nope...
Steps are fine for GT-I9300

Hmmmmmm. So maybe this U-Boot Version I have tested not for GT-I9305...
Because few Hardware differences...
