I apologize upfront: totally new to this. I have been reading the threads every chance that i get and am confused as all heck.

My family bought me a Czech language Xperia X2 that I need to change to English. I am getting the complete run around from SE(Sony Ericsson) Europe as well SE USA."The phone was sold in Slovakia and was meant to be used in Slovakia. SE is not responsible for changing the language. . . " yadda yadda boolcookies.

What is a "Hard SPL"?

Is there a hard SPL available for the Xperia X2 yet?

It is my understanding that this "hard SPL" is needed to change the language on the X2 and people are posting that they are having success doing so. If this is true can someone please show me how to do it?

Hello, none ROM for GENERIC_HK - so you can use GENERIC_EN / GENERIC_SG - for English ROM or GENERIC_CN / GENERIC_TW for Chinese ROM...

Check and read this thread http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=682497and you'll know how to update your ROM. You can also probably try if you can upgrade through SEUS.
