[MCU] Universal MCU-List

Just stick the update on an SD card and put it into the GPS slot, it should auto update.

This thread is for MCUs though, check out the Q&A section for more help.

You DONT have 1.6Gb of RAM BTW ALL these units have 1 Gb only).

From where can I found the update to 4.4 ? can you give me the link so I can download that update ?

i dont see this version listed KLD V2.20

My new GS unit, looks like that means UG Electronics Ltd., has a newer MCU version I don't see listed here.

I have asked XTRONS for the MCU, and the KitKat image that came with the unit... but they are totally playing dumb.

I dont get the UG Electronics bit - what makes you think its them ?

Nothing to do with lick, you can install MCU and update.image separately, always have been able to.

I read in the Wiki that the 2-letter seems to infer the maker. My actual unit came in a factory fresh box from UG Electronics, with a pretty XTRONS box inside... which leads me to believe UG is the actual manufacturer of these units. Just a hunch really.

Thanks dude, I ended up putting the Malaysk ROM on the unit the second day I had it installed. I was just trying to get the MCU image for the community. This system has some interesting features like DIS CanBus display, vehicle emblem load screens, and apparently a better Bluetooth module (my mic and volume sound good).

Ah, I see, interesting, thanks for the info, although I d expect the MCU to be something like "UGE" if they were the manufacturers.

I understood you perfectly and like I said, there is no "luck" involved - you do not have to install the MCU and update.image together.

Can you post pics ? - all units have had vehicle emblem load screens and some form of CAN Bus display since they came out - I m interested to see if theyve been updated.
