No insecure boot image is required for the ALLINONE procedure anymore.

If the option is available in the Toolkit then the Toolkit knows it has all the required files. If an insecure boot image is not available for your build then all options requiring that image are disabled.

Mark.

Thank you, Mark. I know you're a busy man and I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my ignorance.

Steps for Upgrading 4.1.2 Stock Rooted to 4.3 Stock Rooted
I have read through and searched this thread because I wanted to figure out how to do this the right way but am still not sure.
A while back I used the Note 2 Toolkit to Load 4.1.2 Stock Rooted (I am a Paid/Pro user). I believe I used the "all in one" method originally. My phone is great and has been so smooth and I have no complaints (thanks Mark!). Now that the Universal Toolkit has 4.3 support, I would finally like to update to 4.3 Stock Rooted if possible.
I am fairly certain that I will not be able to just "upgrade" through the toolkit and here is probably a process and procedure. Could someone share their knowledge and guide me through this?
Thanks in advance to whomever can help me.

I keep running into a Permission issue when attempting to root now.
I reverted back to stock, just of the day, so I could start fresh on CM11, but now I cant gain root again.
Ill include a screenshot of the exact error that is occurring.

I am on the paid v5.1 by the way.

Any ideas, or work arounds, or am I just doing something stupid?

EDIT: Alright I found a way to get root. I have to flash the SuperSU via recovery with the ZIP file. However even after gaining root this way. Busybox still will not install. If I use the option to just root and install Busybox I get an error saying "/tools" cannot be found.

Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & Try again.

Can't get passed this screen. I initially tried to root using #5 recommended method it kept booting into stock recovery. Used tool kit to fix booting into stock recovery and it never would get past the dowloading to target screen!. Then after the fourth time not working I unplugged it to give up and I get this F&#Ked Up screen that I can't get out of!!! Have I hosed my phone?

I can't get anything to come up other than this screen.

Streesed,

Charles

All I wanted to do was root the thing to flash a stock rooted 4.4.2!

Edit FIXED! I used Odin to flash stock recovery. Any one want to spoon feed me on how to obtain root from stock 4.3?

Thanks

Charles

I did it! 4.4.2 woot woot!
