I think Ankur's recovery (CWM 6.0.4.7) should be added instead of CWM 6.0.4.5. It's FULLY stable.

As Rahul has already posted about rooting,unrooting but i c still people having problem.
So,here is detailed guide for it with latest Superuser and binaries
==========================================================================================================================
CWM RECOVERY v6.0.3.6
Flashing With Odin
Install USB Drivers of your Device and remember an odin flashable file is supposed to be in .tar or .tar.md5 format only.
DOWNLOAD SAMSUNG USB DRIVERS
Lets Begin :-
1. First be sure USB Debugging is checked in ur device ( Settings>Developer Options>USB Debugging )
2. Extract the Odin file from the zip.
3. Open Odin3 (Run As Administrator).
4. Put your device in download mode. To do so, press Volume Down And Home And Power Button all together and when it vibrates release
Power Button but keep pressing left ones. You should have a triangle with an android janitor while it's saying downloading ..
VOL UP TO CONTINUE...
5. Now connect USB to PC ,you should see a blue rectangle with COM:xx and saying Added. It means that your device is ready to be flashed!
6. Go into the PDA section and select your .tar file.(CWM Recovery)
7. Dont check any option (F.reset time and Auto reboot are checked by default) So just uncheck Auto Reboot.
8. Now click Start.
9. When it's finished, it should say that "Res OK" in Odin..
10. Now remove ur USB and remove ur battery and put it back and go to Recovery Mode (Volume UP And Home And Power Button all
together and when it vibrates release Power Button but keep pressing left ones).
GUESS WHAT :- U r in CWM Recovery
NOTE :- Never click reboot recovery in advanced option in CWM Recovery it will cause bootloop or factory reset from phone settings do factory
reset from CWM Recovery,if by mistakenly u got bootloop just flashed CWM Recovery again.
( Remember this time Auto Reboot should be Checked )

You can use any one of it but SuperUser is not getting any updates from last year and no more further develoment ,so recommend SuperSU.

cmon man thats comon it shows on every flash signature verification failed but it does flash it successfully check ur recovery first
To unlock boot loader follow these steps:
1. Switch off ur device
2. Press the power button
3. U will feel a vibration at that time, hold volume down and home keys at the same time.
4. U would find urself in a screen with warning. Read it and press volume up to continue
5. U will find urself in download mode. And u have unlocked boot loader.

now what i do to root my phone
i have flashed cwm first it shows 'reset' then after show 'pass' then i remove usb cable
my phone works normaly after flasing CWM
and download mode can be open

Anyway the problem is Cwm recovery,when after flashing Cwm u come back to Cwm bootloop error plz flash the Cwm recovery again with auto reboot check in odin this time

flash the recovery again using odin, after that ur phone should start again. after this, go to playstore and download an app called rasher, after downloading install philz recovery. this has helped many.
Black Screen and Yellow Triangle on samsung logo
Hey there.
As instructed i flashed CWM Recovery v6.0.3.6 however my didnt boot into recovery automatically so i booted to recovery. It showed the samsung logo with yellow exclamatory triange and then the screen went black. I cannot go to download mode or recovery or cant detect my phone on my pc so cant reflash the stock firmware.
Is my phone hard bricked?
Details: Phone- GT-i8552 4.1.2
ps- i even tried changing my battery to see if it was my battery that was causing that but didnt work out.

I flashed cwm 6.0.3.6 mentioned in the post. after that when i removed the battery to reboot the phone wont boot.Express ur situation broadly...What is appearing while pressing power key??? I bricked my phone (galaxy s4,,soft,hard bricked) and got my s4 back to life...I will try to help u..

I cant download anything from the dev host after download the zip it gives me a exe file that open upto an torrent file which is always stuck on downloading metadata atleast thats the problem for me or i dont know how to download it if any one can give me direct link to the file it will be of great help(The file i am talking about is cwm recovery or twrp ) without that i can not root my device please help soon as possible!!!

installing first time auto reboot shud be unticked
but unfortunately if u got bootloop in cwm
then when u flash CWM next time click auto reboot it wont harm u ,i have written thread after all testing bro :good:2I was going to update as i was busy with my rom
