That being said, I got HL2 free with my ATI AIW 9650 quite a few years ago, and beat it in like 3 days. Got home from work one day, ate dinner, started playing around 6pm, and then looked at the clock and saw 3am looking back at me. :) HL2 is easily one of the best games of ALL time.

i love it when that happens with games, one minuate its early an the next its like: ''f**k it ill just ring in sick'' :D

the half-life series.. how many is there in the series..?

How about just cause 2?

I haven't played it yet as I'm waiting to get some money to buy just cause 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction. :rolleyes:

I wish I have got such great amount of time for gaming and a good computer...
anyway, ideas:
i recon you should try the upcoming need for speed series games. they do look nice :)

Yeah Need For Speed is my most favorite game since beginning and I play as soon as its versions comes out.

Need For Speed SHIFT is the superb of its series. Of course its the latest. NFS Word is the upcoming game and I'm sure it will be very wonderful then SHIFT.

Other great racing games :

Test Drive unlimited 2 ( Coming up on Sept )
Race Drive GRID ( I think this game has great graphics then any NFS )
Live For Speed ( Very small game but its great. )
Euro Truck SIM ( Great game for time pass :p )

There are many others but I like only the above listed. :)

Thanks to this thread, I played counterstrike and halflife last night. Clear Sky can't compare to eather shadow of chernobyl or call of pripyat

zombies is good, but when you batter it for days on end trying to beat your record.. doesnt help, just bord of it now although i will try again later :)
my personal best is lvl 28 on der riese :)



my pc specs are here

nvidia gefore 7050 motherboard..
duel-core 2.60 ghz..
2gig ddr2 ram (did have 3 but gave 1 away)..
nvida gefore 9500gt xfx - pci express.. (1gig)

*im upgrading to a quad core soon, i want 4gig ram too :)

I have

AMD Athlon II X2 240 @ 2.8Ghz
ASUS M2N68-AM Plus ( NVIDIA Geforce 7025 inbuilt video )
SAPPHIRE HD 4850 1GB HDMI
2+1 GB DDR2 RAM
2x 450w PSU
320GB SAMSUNG F1 HDD

Not so powerful pc but the graphic card is capable for playing all the present and upcoming games. :)

iv installed all my games onto my external 1tb hd..
its nearly time to get a new one i think :p hahaa lol

cheers for link C0dy.. ill give it a try, as with the rest of the games mentioned i have not tried yet..

im personally looking forward to black ops.. due out in november..
high expectations..

but when will cod bring out NAZI ZOMBIES the game! - this would be amazing i think :)

erm, excuse my opinion.. but, the only thing that lets your pc spec's down is windows 7.. im still running the good old XP pro :) me personally, i hate vista and 7, but ****ing good specs dude, i envy your pc :D

if i had a pc like that, id never wana go sleep me! just sit n play games all night online init, just kinda like **** the bird off to play on it :p lol

    what EA should of done was to make BF3 for PC ONLY. (Pr0pper Computer)

    1) this would of forced console noobs to buy a PC
    2) the console noobs that dont, will be forced to play MW3 on their TOY
    3) inevitably, they realise that playing on a PC is better for so many reasons - which converts them into a PC gamer (pr0)

    The engine for MW3 is the same as MW2, really MW3 should of been a DLC or MW2.5.. (should of been called MW£ because they only updated MW2 and called it MW3 to make some £)
    but its not the same engine as Black Ops and W@W. BO and W@W were made by treyarch who used their own engine.
    (W@W and BO are the only ones i ever bought = for zombies ONLY)

    i wasnt on about BFBC2 (Battlefield Bad Company 2) i was on about Battlefield 3..

    it comes out this year, not sure when but the vid that was leaked on youtube looks F-ing brilliant.

    my mate shown it to me and i was like :O FAP! lol

    I would recommend Test Drive Unlimited 2 ($40 on Steam). It's fun, it combines the open world free-roaming of GTA (minus walking around in anything but buildings) and racing with real cars.
