About the bootloop, here is what I did to get it working: Flash the ROM > Flash the patch for Nokia X and reboot. Once it's finished booting, do the initial setup and restart back to recovery and flash the update.

However, I'm having the same problem with you about the notification panel. It's the only thing that is bugging me, otherwise this ROM is great.

Hey dude. The notification panel is working fine now. Try to reflash this ROM but use the update from post #27 in page 3. Hope it works for you :)

Changing quality to CIF is the most compatible. I want to report a screen bug in my Nokia X. I'll post screenshots when I encounter it again. The music app stops working. And sometimes the sound (system,notification,alarm,media) is not working. I can't hear anything until I reboot.

how to support swap file? i can not use RAMEXPANDER in this rom. I used many roms. but it is good enough for everyday use. is there any way to support RAMEXPANDER?

In this thread I'll present an New ROM for Nokia X/XL (normandy). This is an unofficial build, so this not supported by AOSPA ROM team.

Installation Instructions:


After Installing The ROM:
1- Open Settings - Sim Cards - Configure Sim Cards then Active your sims.
2- Open Settings - Storage - Press Menu and choose USB connection then check MTP.
3-Open Settings - About Phone - Press 8 times on build number - go back and open Device Control - CPU Settings - change Governor to on demand - Change Minimum to 245 - Check Set on boot.
4- For using only 3G mode: Open the" dialer ", dial * # * # 4636 # * # * then change it.
5- Before starting video recording, change the quality to 480p.

@YSH ALSAGER I found the simplest ever solution for swapping option not available in settings...

swap is available in ysh pac but not in ang sangley pac...so i just copied settings app from ysh to ang rom....

and voila swap option works in ang pac

you can also try in aospa and caramel

Unfortunately, Camera stopped working

I flashed this ROM. Camera is not starting.

Getting Error
"Unfortunately, Camera stopped working"

Pls help to fix this.

finally the less buggy kk rom for nokia x is here. this rom is just awesome. battery, performance and everything are not just good. they are awesome. nice work bro. but flashing the update , notification, pie control lock screen are glitching much that i cant even unlock my device

how to access the hidden cm setting like pie controls.if i enabled it once i cant disable it forever. tell me how to change that settings

Hello guys. I fix the torch by installing the lightbulb app by faavo from google play. And please please please fix the update. After installing the update.zip, resetting the phone either through factory reset or recovery, the phone stock on blackscreen and never bootup.

    2-Backup your whole ROM (if you want).
    3- For Nokia XL:
    Do Wipe then Flash the ROM.
    For Nokia X:
    Do Wipe then Flash the ROM and X Patch.
    - No need to flash GApps because its already preloaded in the ROM.

    You can enable on-screen buttons by adding this line on /system/build.prop:
    qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
    or just by installing Xposed Installer and GravityBox Module. Long press to home is only available on stock NX ROM but if you want it then u can install the Xposed Addition Module.

    This is how: Wipe data, cache, dalvik, system>>flash AOSPA>>flash patch>>flash update v1.1>>done.
    Have you installed the Initial L ROM? If yes, maybe it is is the reason why you have the wifi bug you have to flash the persist.img for nokia x to fix this. I also encountered this problem when I used the Initial L ROM.
