weather app is not working. It's allways showing that it can't locate. if i try to locate manually the app showing that there is no internet connection

More Samsung Apps For MIUI
Hey fellas, This is my Samsung apps collection that i use with MIUI . since some miui apps like Music , video are not 100% translated , i decided to bring some stock apps to replace them, Those apps are all from Grace UX..
Included Apps :-
I added Galaxy Apps because it allows us to download Camera mods and most importantly Update current apps using it.
You can uninstall some of those apps using titanium backup if you wanted less bloatware.
This DOES NOT replace current apps , it only adds to them

Issues : SMusic works but you need to use notification panel buttons because clicking on the full size player causes FC .
You cant set wallpaper from TouchWiz launcher . And Sam weather isn't working.
Sound alive works but the Sound quality and effects section doesn't open, forgot to add that file.

This might affect Receiving OTA [not sure] So please take a system backup in TWRP .

Installation : Just flash from recovery and reboot

Q : Root is not functioning well.
A : Root can be annoying in this rom, to make your life easier , Download latest superSU Update zip [ Google it ] And flash it in the recovery , Then open the superSU app , if it asked for update hit yes via TWRP [if you flashed latest super su it wont ask] and finally go to SuperSU app > Settings > and press REINSTALL . The phone will reboot, once its back on you should have root access for everything without confirmation , if not uninstall superSU app

I didnt use them for long enough to measure if there was any extra drain. but id assume its very minor since the only app that have wakelocks is galaxy apps when checking for updates

ive backed to the stock rom because of the Chinese language in this apps.

Are these stock Samsung apps or you edited them to work on MIUI? Thanks BTW for letting us know which apps work or not.
Meanwhile i am installing some samsung apps on miui to replace some apps
so far i got Gallery , Snote 5.2 , SMusic , galaxy apps And myfiles .
I have a working smart select with gif but it shows error " prevented by security policies" when i take a capture so its not functional

Hey there. I just flash this zip and it works well. But also it shows up dual app. How can i hide all the dual app
Dual app was not available in 6.11.25, wonitor is trying to fix it...

Well, since alot of these reply's are either asking about root, Volte , or whatever else
By the date of Nov 24 , here is a basic rundown on Miui V8 For exynos Note 4
So far The rom is amazing, its stable, fast and good for daily usage.
Q : Battrey life ?
A : As good as stock roms, meaning a healthy battrey can get minimum 5 hours SoT [Screen on time]
Flashing custom roms tend to mess up battery cycles, always wait for 2 or 3 cycles before judging how good/bad is the battery
-P.S : Battrey usage is different across phones, so test and judge by yourself
Q : Volte ?
A : The Rom dev doesn't have a way to test or work on this feature, so No
Q : Fingerprint ?
A : No FP support at all, no workaround or anything as the rom itself doesn't support FP

Q : Stock DPI ? And how to change
A : 640 is the stock dpi, you can change it in STOCKSETTINGS Option or in build.prop
Q : Trouble during installing OTA or Issues with Multiboot
A : Check Here
Q : I get Force closes after flashing.
A : The best way to flash this rom is this . Wipe cache/dalvik , system and data , Flash ROM , Reboot and finish First time setup, Then reboot and flash Gapps / OTA updates. This should save you alot of trouble.
Q : Some apps / settings force close
A : Those are PatchRom bugs, only the dev can fix them.

Thats it for now, I will try and update this over time, I recommend reading the posts here in order to understand what are you flashing, and also there are fixes every once and while.
P.S : I am not a developer i am just sharing my experience with this rom.
