Quick question: I just switched from an Xperia Z3C to an S7. I've never installed an app this way before, do I have to install a custom recovery to install this app? The apk file doesn't seem to work on it's own.
Edit: Did some more research and it looks like installing TWRP require root on my S7? Is there any way to install the Sony Music app without root?

I searched, twrp or cwm none of them support my phone. FlashFire doesn't support my root(kingroot)
Would work on oreo custom ROM? and do you have any idea for "sony album" flashable zip that's working on oreo? Thank you.
I've been there and it's all apk's. Need frameworks+libs+etc to get the apps working properly especially for album.
*It's ok i've modified the old zip one from guitardedhero and works on oreo. Thanks a lot anyway!

It is latest Sony Music 9.3.6.A.0.1 (new) + v.9.3.3.A.0.2 (older)
Please note that beta version comes with that little red beta tag whereas there is no such thing with stable release.
The Music application from Sony gives you a wonderful experience when listening to your music files. Import your music, arrange in playlists and just listen away. Sony optimize the sound to make it sound great and make sure little power is used, so you can listen for as long as you want.
Changelog :
Will work on Android One Devices + on other devices too.
Requirement's : It should work on any Android device having 5.0, 5.0.1, 6.0, 6.0.1 and maybe Nougat ie. Android 7.0 too. If it didn't get installed, check your internal storage is not full.
Instructions :
1) Download zip from below
2) Go to any custom recovery (twrp recommended)
3) Flash the zip provided from SD card
4) Reboot...

Done buddy. Updated to latest release. My library crashed fixed in latest beta release.1im getting error while flashing the latest version. I found the error , you packed it wrong, i replaced the apk in the previous zip file and flashed it, it worked. However you could upload the fixed version.1
