@gorilla p, why flashing SU? What is the benefit?

can you tell something about the non-charging bug?
Does it completely fail to charge when screen is on
or is it just slow charging as it is known rom MM Roms before?

Thanks for your assistance :)
SuperSU is frequently updated and worked on. Better comparability with apps requiring root. Takes 2 seconds.
Regarding charging, I haven't noticed any issues with this at all. I haven't had any issues at all except the wifi tile stopping working and requiring a reboot occasionally.

Ok thank you! I'll try. So did you have to dirty reflash RR after doing that?

Yes. My steps are below. Keep in mind, I am running AICP not RR, but ok google anywhere was not working with AICP either.

* MAKE BACKUPS *
a) I was coming from MM, so I performed a full wipe (CAREFUL. YOU MAY NOT NEED THIS. See prior step...)
b) flashed AICP nightly ROM, OpenGapps (stock), vendor.img (nmf26f) using TWRP
c) modified: /system/addon.d/70-gapps.sh removed HotwordEnrollment*
d) re-flashed same AICP nightly
e) booted, cleared data on "Google App" (settings->apps)
f) set google voice 'always on' and trained it (settings -> google -> search & now -> voice -> ok google detection)

I'll do that later. Thank you a lot!

After flashing the last version I get the error "Your vendor image does not match the system. Please flash de NMF26F vendor image for your device.".... How do I get in TWRP to recover to the nandroid backup?? Pressing power and volume keys will reboot into the error.

I tried to update from the previous version of RR (which was 7.1.1, so I thought I wouldn't need to change the vendor image).

EDIT: Managed to restore to the nandroid backup, now I get a very weird issue, it tells me my pattern is wrong and I can't unlock the phone. It requires the pin mid boot, and says it's correct, but after boot it says it's wrong. Tried to change it via Android Device Manager but still asks for the pattern.
EDIT: Solved, sorry for being a noob :(

If you can't unlock phone after booting, here's what I did. Boot back to TWRP and use file manager. Go to data/system and delete these files and then reboot.
password.key
pattern.key
locksettings.db
locksettings.db-shm
locksettings.db-wal
Should remove all lock screens.

Yep, worked :)

But any ideia why the vendor image error? I confirmed and what I have installed is the same as in the 1st post. (I was on the 26/11 build)

Do I need to flash it every time I update the ROM?

No don't need to flash vendor every time. Maybe build change between 11/26 and 12/11. If tells you what vendor it wants flash that

That's it, after all it did change from 7.1.0 to 7.1.1. Haven't tried again yet, but that must be it.

Just a suggestion, OP should update the vendor image download link on 1st post :)

A quick search will turn up the info. This has been asked about often.
Its an image file (I believe with closed source stuff) that is updated regularly with security releases. You can usually find it for download, then flash the image with twrp.

Here is an AFH folder with Vendor images for download.

Awesome rom, latest version working great! Lots of features and very good performance! Flashed full dynamic gapps and restored my apps with the google setup wizard (if I remember correctly it didn't work earlier because there also was an issue with it in cm14.1)
