Thanks, I'll skip flashing with CM11 then and go straight to SlimKat during the OtterX partition conversion process.

Hello, im new user of KF, i have buyed this device with cm11 allready installed.
now im looking in About Device section, model is Otter SG7, is any diference from OtterX? can i flash this rom?
or i need to do some modifications.

Otter and OtterX use a different partition scheme and a different 2nd bootloader .
you cant load OtterX roms on a Kindle that hasn't been converted.
