New Franco Kernel version for the Redmi Note 3

1. Improvements on the charging situation. QC2.0 supports up to 3A of charging draw so we allow it. To counter excessive heat now this thing throttles charging amperage quite dramatically using Qualcomm reference values. You don't need to worry about any of this though, it's all handled for you
2. Fixed a bug which was causing the hardware interrupt handler to be in a non-working state and constantly trying to turn itself back on & off. Now it's fixed
3. Give it a slight headroom for the little cluster to quickly respond to load changes. Those little cores are ~5x less power hungry than the big cores, so we're fine letting them scale more aggressively
4. sepolicy changes should now work fine with Magisk root users

Franco Kernel Manager & Updater is the best companion for this Kernel (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.franco.kernel)

I also strongly suggest you install Naptime (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.franco.doze), for free, to achieve the best battery life through out the day. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Reinstalled xda app, all notifications off, huge battery drain! It doesn't show up in default battery settings, you need to install a battery monitor app

I have flashed your kernel and - unless I have understood something completely wrong - I don't see QC values during charging. Higher value is 1,4A and OS says 3 hours to fully charged battery.

As far as I know, QC is hardware supported for this device and it's up to a custom kernel to activate it - which, as I understand, is something your kernel provides.

The amperage doesn't tell the full story. For example on a QC charger 2.0A can be using 9V, and 1.5A can mean 12V (which is very fast). Also the OS's remaining charge time is more often than not wrong. If it charged on a steady 1.5A 5V it would take ~2h30m to charge the battery from 0 to 100. Earlier today I was charging my Pixel on stock charger (which uses USB-C PD, roughly 5V-3A) and it said it would take 8 hours. Suffice to say it charged in roughly an hour.

Estimations on battery are always hard to gauge and without proper tools is impossible get the full picture.

Sorry for repost but it's quite important for me.
BUG REPORT
I'm on LineageOS 0503 clean install with latest firmware.
It's a classic bug of our device. I get nothing but white noise when I use aux connection in my car's radio. Basically when I use good pair of headphones it's fine but when I use some strange aux port, phone doesn't know what's happening. You can look at Rodon Kernel. I've been using Rodon-headphones-Kenzo.zip(some special version around 2.3) and it was fine on CM13(only kernel version that worked properly) <br />
When I'm at that. I've got thing that was never fixed. On Rodon when this aux connection worked I couldn't make calls with it. My previous phone OPX knew to send my caller's voice through aux and to my car's speakers, at the same time taking my voice from microphone in the phone. On our device, it expects microphone to be in aux connection so I'm mute.

1. Improved compatibility with Nitrogen custom rom by preventing their custom post-boost script to run and properly apply default FK values
2. Follow the latest changes from LineageOS related to Goodix users. You'll need to be on a fairly recent custom rom (building from LineageOS sources or using their Goodix related patches) to have it working
3. Merged some patches from LineageOS which include some important fixes and changes
4. Screening on should be a couple milliseconds faster and more responsive
5. Max frequency on the big cluster is now raised to 1.8GHz following LineageOS's changes

A million thanks and indeed, charged my phone 100%, plug off around 6am in the morning. Up until 11pm at night and i still got 20+% on my daily average usage. i do not care about screen on time. it's about daily usability... once again THANKS

Second SIM not detected in r6, directly install from r5 via updater.

    Hi all.

    Compatibility:
Builds starting with r1 are for Lineage OS 14.1 based roms.
Builds starting with r13 are also for Android Oreo 8.1.0 roms.

    Download:
From my webserver choose the Kernel with the most recent version number. Older releases for older Android versions are in the parent directory:
    Android 7.1.2: https://kernels.franco-lnx.net/RedmiNote3/7.1.2/anyKernel/
    Android 8.1.0: https://kernels.franco-lnx.net/RedmiNote3/8.1.0/anyKernel/
or from my Updater app. It's just easier and more convenient:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.franco.kernel

    Installation:
Flash the zip in your recovery
    or
Auto-flash from Franco Kernel Updater app

    Features:
    1 - Legendary battery life
    2 - Flash & forget
3 - Typical interfaces like display adjustments, sound control, vibration control, and all that boring stuff
4 - Bypasses the verified boot flag for Android Pay compatibility (root still breaks Android Pay but that's your own problem)
5 - Idle power consumption reduced to the absolute minimum (if you have wakelocks from 3rd party apps you're obviously on your own)
    6 - Support for FKUpdater's Performance Profiles
7 - Magical support, I'm here every day, checking posts almost hourly, ready to help anytime (well, unless you fail to read the OP, which contains most info you need)
8 - Seemless integration with my app FKUpdater
9 - No useless placebo patches, or "magical" optimizations
10 - Probably more, check my github for all the details - the code speaks for itself

Franco Kernel: Manager & Updater demo

    Disclaimer to moderators:
Slight OT is fine, but when users decide to act stupid they should be dealt with with the appropriate means - its really annoying for me when OT turns crazy. Please put the warning/ban hammer anytime any of you think there's lack of respect and/or too much unwanted OT crap - but if it doesn't meet this criteria let the OT posts alone. Thank you.

    Cheers!

Also I'm pretty fresh on this device so if I missed anything let me know, if it makes sense I'll add it.
