The download link in the OP doesnt work. and the app mentioned in the comments UPSM manager doesnt work either. There are steps mentioned in comments to make the app work, but even after following them religiously it doesnt work for me.

Are there actually any success stories on this thread?

I have been struggling A LOT to find a solution to add more apps in UPSM of my wonderful Samsung galaxy S5.
And finally I have found a way to add as much apps as I like.

picture http://www.mediafire.com/view/jh4dxn...xy%20S5%20UPSM .jpg (sorry just delete the space, for some reason, the picture system and HTML system are not working)

Steps and programs I have tried and my feeling changed from hopefully → deeply disappointed → Extremely happy

1. Download and install the UPSM_Manager_v1.0.apk of @xperiacle (here) → the app was installed successfully → Open the app → Everything seems to be fine → I ticked 10 apps that I love to have in UPSM → Click save (Nothing happen, it didn't even ask for permission of SuperSU)→ Clear the setting of emergency manager service + Emergency Provider ( clear data, not clear cache) as recommended here on post #96 of the same topic above → reboot → go to UPSM → FAILED. Everything is THE SAME as before the app was installed and set up. ( Redo the process for like 10 times → Same result) → Uninstalled the app. ( Just skip this step start to from step 2 )

2. Download and install the UPSM + which also seems to be a product of @xperiacle from here for free version or google play version here→ the app was installed successfully → Opened the app → Everything seemed to be fine → I ticked 10 apps that I love to have in UPSM → Cleared the setting of emergency manager service + Emergency Provider ( clear data, not clear cache) as recommended here on post #96 of the same topic above → rebooted → went to UPSM Failed → Everything was DISAPPEARED from my list of apps ( I felt so horrible at this time but don't worry, just continue)

3. Go to system/csc ( Use root browser in case you don't know) and open the file "allowed_apps_upsm.xml" with text editor as recommended by @Arsaw in post #1 copy this to the file
HTML Code:
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8' ?>
<favorites xmlns:launcher="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/com.sec.android.provider.emergencymode" >
    <home>
        <!-- Permission[wxyz] -->
        <!--
             w : Always enabled.
             x : Use AlarmManager.
             y : Use mobile data when screen off.
             z : Use default App permission, Don't kill if turn off screen.
        -->
        <!-- SBrowser -->

4. Clear the setting of emergency manager service + Emergency Provider ( clear data, not clear cache) → reboot → go to UPSM → IT'S WORK .

How to add the apps by yourself
1) If you look more closely to the code above in system/csc you will notice that the structure is repeated. Just copy more groups of repeated part as many apps as you want to add.
