Well, nova launcher+pixel pill widget is my way to go now. I could get the look i want and it's running fine.

Sure, there you go. Doesn't work Android 7.1.1 though. Only up until 7.0.
I did a version with 4 rows in home screen like the original Z play launcher

Working on 7.1.1!!!!!
Well, I really don't know what I did (and even if I did something at all), but I reinstalled the launcher after updating to 7.1.1. (and hard reseting the phone) and Google Now integration is working perfectly! I attached some screenshots trying to show it working.

please make all apps column grid size as 5. I'm using this moto launcher in moto g4 plus but got only 4 columns..

I am not getting appinfo option in app drawer and home screen. just reinstall launcher and appinfo option is gone. There is only cancel and uninstall options are there.
about 3D touch
do you know why the launcher do not support the Android 7.1.1 3D touch with the apps shortcuts on my moto z play?
