Hi, can I ask where to put the 512mb in Step 8. Am I doing it right? Is it always the same amount of partition size and unallocated size after whether I choose fat32 and ext2? Please see the attach photos.
First make the FAT32 partition (in your case it's 1.32 GB) and then in the unallocated space (513 MB in your case) after the FAT32 partition, create a new partition of EXT2/EXT3/EXT4 format. Don't forget to mark "Create as" to "Primary". Unallocated space after the second partition will be 0 MB, not the same as the previous one. I think you've got it.

First of all, you have to create a
FAT32 partition (in your case it's 1.32 GB) which will have adjacent unallocated space of about 513 MB (in your case). Then create a second partition of
EXT2/EXT3/EXT4 format having a size of 513 MB. Don't forget to make "Create as" to "Primary".
This partition will have 0 MB as the following unallocated space, not the same as the previous one.
