I need for test magisk, right?
At this time I uninstall magisk because ResurrectionRemix Rom for S7 Edge runs better without magisk. Used the root plug in from lineage..

You mean, flash the zip in twrp, after restart to system I must unzip and copy the XML to the path you written, correct?Yes, Magisk is required.
But you can extract mixer_paths_0.xml and copy it into system/etc and adjust permissions (644).
Don't forget a backup...

If Magisk is installed, reboot into TWRP recovery, install the zip and restart the phone. That's it.
If you don't have Magisk installed, extract the mixer_paths_0.xml from the zip and copy it into system/etc. You'll need root for this. Set permissions to 644. Then reboot.

I installed version 19 on my S7 Edge nougat tomorrow but find the earpiece speaker a little too quiet. Can I install volume mod level 3 for version 18 or is that strictly for v18 and not compatible with v19?
Or can I manually edit a file in root to make it louder?

The earpiece is not designed for make louder sound. If you set more earpiece volume you will damage the earpiece speaker.
zubi182, how to increase the sound of handset speaker (1 in your first post picture) in version 19
If it is possible of course..
@zubi182 any plans to merge those lines into your mod (like V20)? Otherwise people may have issues using your mod + wifi calling
I just tried flashing this on my S7 edge and I don't know if I did something wrong, but there's absolutely nothing different, it's as if I didn't flash it at all. Am I somehow supposed to activate and deactivate dual speaker (from v19)? Cause I was left with the impression that after flashing it it would activate automatically.
EDIT: I'm on the superman mod and chose stock sound files, but after seeing what this really was, I thought I had to have it and downloaded it separately, but like I said, after flashing it there's absolutely no difference compared to before flashing it.
EDIT2: Also forgot to mention I'm on 935F
EDIT3: I tried disabling the audio library in magisk and now when I play something and put my ear to the upper speaker it sounds as if there's a faint hiss coming from it. Any idea what that means? I can confirm it only hisses like that after having flashed the dual speaker mod. When I flash the revert to stock zip there's no hiss.

The sound is distorted from the ear piece after flashing v19 do I have to do anything differently to remove the distortion. Please help. I'm using TGP ROM S7 FD version.

So I've been comparing my original mixer_gains.xml with yours and found that a lot of code was removed (related to VoLTE/Wifi Call I guess), plus a lot of hex values related to param were different. So I tried to modify my original_gains.xml with all your values related to volume only and it works like a charm now
If anyone has encountered the same issue with a W8, I attached my modified mixer_gains.xml. To be replaced in system/etc and permissions set to 644 obviously.

You can not imagine the pressure of seeing messages like this and not have time to sit down and do what you say it is so easy .
