And it's very bad manners for a dev to not check his topic and not talk with users...

Yeah we are waiting patiently.. See you next year..

You do understand that you are not a customer right? That no one owes you a ROM? Devs do this for themselves and share their work with the community, and they are free to stop at any time they choose. If you don't have the patience to wait till someone else does the hard work for you, you are welcome to download source and build for yourself.

Oh a new unofficial build! Well done @shivatejapeddi Happy New Year to all from the GZR team :)
Heyyo, wow dude that's cool to see one of the main ROM devs hop in this thread! Congrats to all the good work you put into GZR making Oreo a more friendly place for us all :)

I have a question if that's ok to ask. Orange Poland recently has added VoLTE and I've been trying to find the network info and if my understanding is correct similar to India with Jio 4G VoLTE it requires specific settings in order to work with custom ROMs... I couldn't find them thus far.

Here's the closest mention I've seen to those settings
https://xdaforums.com/xz-premium/how-to/xzp-volte-firmware-t3631276

Piotr, i think with DS version of device you are out of luck. There is no european provider specific modem configuration(required for volte) available for the dual sim device. I have attached available configurations in the zip file.
To get single sim modem configuration files flashed to device, you need to flash system.sin, but i STRONGLY DO NOT recommend doing that. Potential brick on your way.
Mixing flashing the single sim and dual sim different .sin files is highly experimental.

If you really want VoLTE then i think less headache is if you can find a person who is willing to switch single sim version with you.
You can get any region G8141 and then flash https://xpericheck.com/cda/1308-7002
Phone needs load configuration amss_fsg_maple_orange_poland_volte_vowifi_tar.mbn to get VoLTE and VoWIFI.
Checking current oem.sin file, i can see that when inserting Orange PL sim, then amss_fsg_maple_orange_poland_ims_tar.mbn is actually loaded.

Is the XZ Premium on confirmed VoLTE devices list on Orange Poland webpage?

So if I managed to find that Xperia G8141 firmware he mentioned with orange Poland volte vowifi file would that work for extracting the settings from it?

Congratulations again on your builds @shivatejapeddi and please don't allow an entitled user to deter you from continuing to learn and build. They are in the minority, most users are very supportive as we can see from the other comments on this thread. Cheers, all ✌️

Thanks, we appreciate your support :) Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to help with that. I'm not one of the developers, my contributions to the team include user support and admin management of our communities and forums.

Ah understood. Any help a ROM team can get is appreciated so it's good to see a nice community member stepping up and helping out :)

I'll keep messing about then as I found a tool for downloading specific firmware versions from Xperia servers
