Seems like a loss atm. I am coming up with solutions for this issue of RIL. All it is is a baseband problem and the radio crashes from what I'm seeing. Flashing a radio would or should fix the problem

We (the devs) are working on LOS 15.1 (Android 8.1) that should be ready for beta in the near feature. For progress please check the github source.
Can you please share the link of the Github page where I can follow the progress?

With all due respect, last update on the github source is 2 months ago, unless I am missing something, there is hardly any progress to check. Wich github/branch are you referring to?

Wouldn't bother, this has been left dead in the water for a year now...
Already had multiple report of people flashing and moments later having completely hard bricked devices...
You've been warned. (By TWRP too by the looks of it)
+1 to this. I had to rip the back off my s8 and then remove the battery and then put it back in whilst holding the buttons to go into twrp and wipe everything.
DO NOT FLASH THIS
