I use this app to downloae video from YouTube
It works perfectly most of time.
But when I try to download video from AaBSC_r4ntc
I got some problem
The size of 1080p displayed incorrectly
and trying to download it result in a infinite download
Is this work intentionally or it is a bug?

Thumbs up
Kickass! I just stumbled on this thread and installed your app to give it a test drive..Worked beautifully! Nice to have a dedicated app that works with the Youtube app as well. Ever since Google removed all YT download apps I've been using Firefox browser with YT downloader extension.

This will be my main YT downloader and FF as backup.

Nice work!

This is happening because the 1080p video-only stream is not returning any file size... And this is the 1st time I see something like this. Sometimes it happens for the 720p video format, on some very long videos (hours), so this might be again a similar case.

I have no solution so far.

Anyway the download is not "infinite"; it's long and you can't check its progress.

I forgot to add two screenshots I took in regards to this problem.

I think it is infinite or at least something went wrong
I use youtube-dl to download that video, it is only 2gb
but when i use YouTube downloader to download It, it downloads more than 10 gb and seems not to stop at all

Ok I'll look into it. Eventually I'll prevent those "0 size" downloads at all.

Thanks

Opus auto convert to mp3 fails
Dentex,
Thank you very much for this great app!

One problem I have had for a while now is that the auto convert to mp3 feature fails for audio only downloads of type opus.
This seems to be due to ytd feeding the filename with the .opus extension to ffmpeg, but the actual file has a .opus.ogg extension.
Manually starting the conversion after the download works fine.

Would be great if you could fix this!
Thanks a lot

Hello.
Ogg is the right container for the opus stream, this is why after you download an opus AO format, it passes through FFmpeg; opus/ogg files don't go through the auto-mp3 extraction by design. It works only for video files (when you want both the video AND its audio in mp3 - this is the only reason why I left the auto-conversion feature; it actually seems redundant when you can download AO formats as m4a or ogg). Do you agree?

Its a pity, but in a good way that you don't collect usage data. I personally only download the video (with audio) or just as an MP3. But, that's just me. For the functionality this app provides, I personally wouldn't mind an "extra wait" over more work for you.
