Unable to flash RUU, Error - all FAILED (status read failed (Too many links))

I have tried flashing Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_1.29.651.7_encrypted_ROM.zip from http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2250904

However, I keep getting this error:
(bootloader) rom parsing start ...
(bootloader) rom parsing finish ...
(bootloader) zip header checking...
(bootloader) zip info parsing...
FAILED (status read failed (Too many links))

I somehow now can get into recovery - I have TWRP. Anything I can do here??
Tried sideloading the above ROM but got error failed...

Somehow manged to get back to life. I don't know how but working now. I will post all the steps I did in sometime.
But really myself don't know what worked :)

Thanks to all who helped especially @bigdaddy619 :good: and also to those who offered to help :)

Not sure if anyone has told you this yet but you should only flash Roms or RUU's that are on the sprint forum. Unless stated by the OP that they are compatible with our network.

just a heads up for future stuff.

I'm stuck please help me ?

It tells me to enable USB debugging, but I can't do that as I cant get into android. Then later I get this error. Tried on multiple ports on my pc.

The latest RUU is an exe file it's not meant to be fastboot flashed.

I have the very same problem man, my htc One m7 At&t branded show me the very same error and cannot flash any RUU or sideload. Tried a Guru reset zip, the process was like the video, but still without recovery or leaving me flash any RUU.

This is what i get... (sorry if my "english" have mistakes but i'm from Venezuela)

I am having same problem but using AT&T phone... I have tried with bootloader locked 4 different RUU files, all of them got error, I unlocked the bootloader and still the same, tried to do with fastboot and still the same, locked or unlocked always get too many links error... Any help?

can you help me as well. i have relocked my bootloaders but my M8sd dwgl ruu gives the same error i.e. [too manu links] and now i cant even get into recovery.

    Ok, just checking. Sounds like his partitions are jacked. And his script he showed was errored on unlocked boot. Not to mention needs the 1.29 downgrade line....
