Maybe a dumb question but does Franco on the 5t disable force encryption like on his 6p kernel. Just wondering if after I decrypt my phone if I need a mod to be flashed everytime or if the kernel supports it

Franco Kernel doesn't do that on any device as far as I know. EX does, which is why it doesn't work with FBE enabled on the 6P or 5X, so maybe that's what you're thinking of?

That said Franco Kernel also just leaves whatever is there, so if you've disabled force encryption with SuperSU or Magisk or another mod, then it should still work. You might just need to flash root/the mod again after a ROM update, but that should be no surprise. :good:

I'm seeing an issue randomly after reboot, but it is annoying. Where upon restarting I have both Wifi and network, but after period of time I loss wifi and the sim disappears. I can still connect to the wifi, but I get a X next to it and it does not really work.
In this state rebooting is impossible (hangs and does not reboot) and I'm forced to power it off. I've found that clearing cache and dvorak then shutdown and restart it seems to fix it (or at least that is what I'm doing), if it works after a reboot for 10+ minutes then it never seems to have issues, never mind the last time it took 20.

All seems very odd.

Tested about everything I can think of, but appears that on the OOS 5.04 released yesterday from OP, that r25 breaks wifi and NFC. After flashing, both wifi and NFC are off and I can't turn them back on. This is on a clean install of 5.04 completely stock or with Magisk, In both cases after flashing r25 wifi and NFC are off and can't be turned back on.

    Disclaimer to moderators:
Slight OT is fine, but when users decide to act stupid they should be dealt with with the appropriate means - its really annoying for me when OT turns crazy. Please put the warning/ban hammer anytime any of you think there's lack of respect and/or too much unwanted OT crap - but if it doesn't meet this criteria let the OT posts alone. Thank you.

    Cheers!

Hey all! As maybe some of you know I got married at the start of July so of course Android went to the sidelines. Now that I'm back let's catch up and have some fun together! r32 is out with all the updates you need. And you know it, you can auto-flash with my app http://get.franciscofranco.xyz

Support for open betas with Treble will go out tomorrow, it's late and I haven't tested it as much as I'd like.

    I hope ya'll doing great :)

r40 for OxygenOS 9.0 is up! Took me a couple days because I've brought it up from scratch. Might work on custom Pie roms since I've made WiFi built-in, but I haven't tested so I don't really know.
Auto-flash with my app here http://get.franciscofranco.xyz or get the zip from the OP.

Let me know how this works for you :)

AND DRUMROLLS r22 with systemless WiFi module! No more feck ups with lack of /system space or other stupid stuff!
Big ass danke you to mr @osm0sis which is the MVP and figured out a way for this to work on a rootless device!
Also, also merged 4.4.114 and patched up a security hole!

Now give me all your moneys and auto-flash with my app http://beta.franciscofranco.xyz
You can also get the zip from the OP of course!

    You're welcome in advance!!!!!

I've been having some real life issues so I'm trying to balance things out. I just pushed r28 to add support for OxygenOS 5.1.
You can easily auto-flash with my app http://get.franciscofranco.xyz or get the .zips from the OP.
Custom rom users: the Kernel will be in the 8.1.0-custom directory. To auto-flash from my app you need to update to version 3.0.2 that I just pushed which automagically figures out the correct .zip to flash.

Thanks for the support and enjoy!
