First, I'm afraid @paphonb has stated that.
Many many times in the main thread. Mm ask anyone, and check yourself.

Secondly, @panhonb has stated in the main thread this is only called "modded" because it allows you to have the Google feed with installing this launcher as a system app.

If you want to say my answers are wrong or incorrect, that's fine, but best check your own information is correct before you say stuff like that in public.
Hopefully @panhonb will reply himself to put the record straight.
Just post the link to that then, or it never happened

Link for what? Just search the thread, people asking for icon packs are all over the thread. About the Google feed, paphonb did mention in the feature list in the op that this app "Enable google now and weather without installing as a system app" and you do need to modify the apk to do that so you can call it modded for that reason.

But in the first place, paphonb already wrote in the FAQ section that "Neither this nor the original Pixel Launcher support icon packs. But if you're rooted, you can use Pixel Launcher Mods to change icons or apply an icon pack." If you're not rooted then too bad but you can always use another launcher.

I'm not posting any links.

If you cannot be bothered to search for the Information you want, that's your problem.

As stated by @Stampyron, @paphonb has explained these things in the thread a number of times.

If you dont believe us or dont want to believe it, that's your problem.

XDA has a perfectly good search function.
I suggest you use it.

If you keep calling me out over stuff thats been posted here for everyones benefit (including yours) and then you say it "Neber happened" I'll just report you to the mods.

Im going to ask politely that the whole "modded" talk cease please. I dont think the dev would appreciate it. Im just going to try asking nicely, Im not here to sway anyones opinion. Im not here to take sides. Honestly, it just not worth it guys. Please remember its not that serious. We are all here to enjoy Android.

Please and thank you.

Greetings ??, I am new to this forum thread, but not the launcher (have gotten apks through APK Mirror and GitHub before), and coming from the Ruthless Pixel Launcher with a personal question to pose.

Is anyone unable to get notification dots and or force touch settings for applications implemented or working at all ?? Could have sworn earlier versions of this launcher had this functionality when I used them back in the day, however, I could be mistaken, but I am unsure ?? If I could get this question answered I would greatly appreciate it ☺. Thanks ?.

@paphonb, thanks for the recent updates. Keep up the good work ?.

Notification dots are only working on oreo as stated in FAQ. I don't know what is force touch (sounds something like Apple's 3D touch thingy) but if you meant app shortcuts then you need to make the launcher as default launcher app

Thanks for the information ☺. Darn shame that the dots are for Oreo only now, but in due time my phone (G6) will be updated to that Android version (whenever that may be though ?). Force touch, I believe, was Google's answer to Apple's 3D touch (all I know is the both deal with long pressing an app icon to get more settings and functionality ?). Lastly, I do have the launcher set as the default, but I am still not getting these application shortcuts at all ?. Your thoughts @Stampyron?

UPDATE: I also have all permissions enabled as well.

I will check, thanks!

    FAQ
Q: Notification badges is not working
A: Read the instructions here. Only working on 8.0 and above for now.

    Q: It's crashing for me
A: Attach a logcat when reporting issues or it will be ignored.

    Q: Weather/At A Glance not working
A: Make sure your Google app is the latest version and installed as a system app then try this.

Q: My icons are not rounded
A: It's up to your ROM to decide which one is used.

Q: It says "App not installed" when I try to change my wallpaper.
A: Install Google's Wallpapers app from Play Store.

Q: Does this launcher support icon packs?
A: No. Neither this nor the original Pixel Launcher support icon packs. But if you're rooted, you can use Pixel Launcher Mods to change icons or apply an icon pack.

Q: I got an error saying "App not installed" when I try to install this launcher
A: This launcher has the same package name as Pixel Launcher. You need to uninstall other versions of Pixel Launcher first. If it is a system app, use the Magisk module to install this launcher. A variant of this mod with a new package name is now available.

Q: I got an error saying "There was a problem parsing the package" when I try to install
A: Starting from version 5 (based on P Pixel Launcher), this launcher only supports Android 7 and above.

Q: The launcher crashes when launching some apps.
A: This is probably a bug in a WIP feature in the launcher. A workaround is to change icon shape in launcher settings.
