Wait until the lights turn off before running haret. Whatever state those lights are in when you are starting android, that's the state you get stuck in.

np

So I tried out the froyostone clean build, for some reason I just couldn't get it to run smoothly, lots of stuttering. I also tried mattc 1.5 with the OC kernal which kept crashing left and right. Back to stock 1.5 again, the most stable build I've used by far.

Is there any way I can undo these settings or remove the widget?

Using the 1.5 build.

Thx

The same happend to me with quick settings widget. Fortunatelly I found an easy sollution. You have to connect your phone with PC and use adb:

adb shell "echo 255 >/sys/class/leds/lcd-backlight/brightness"

now the backlight is back and you can change the backlight brightness.
